I got the Wooden Sword one, and I'm close to getting the No Gels one, but I know for damn sure I won't be getting the others. I already died a bunch of times lol.

So many embarrassing errors. Saw a typo or two and when I got the title for the orienteering in palmacosta the notification for colette's dog lover popped up instead. I did get the palmacosta pro title and not the colette's dog lover one but the notification was wrong.

Yep I noted that too.

And how the innkeeper mentions the wrong price.

And how the stealing notification is "Apple GelStole" rather than "Stole Apple Gel"

And other text errors, like when leaving Derris Kharlan: "Return to the destroyed seal roomK" . There are a number of these.

Not to mention the mismatch of the text/voice in some of the new skill names.

You'd think these be easily patchable, but they likely won't bother.

I appreciate Genis really. He's the least annoying of the "child characters" and one of the less dependent ones. Even the voice actors are pretty good for him. The Japanese one is pretty much illustrating that he's just your average boy, no annoying Japanese trend attached to him like with a lot of the other pre-teen characters. Mao was pretty damn bad and it got worse from there. Technically Chelsea shouldn't count but she is also annoying and the youngest in her group.

I also like Genis. He's truly a little bro without shared blood. His teases to Lloyd are cute while not being ear-wrenching/annoying.

Forgot, but when can you get the swimsuits, and formal costumes? I just returned to Sylvarant with the Rheairds. Sword Dancer 2 done, if I recall the 3rd one is in Ymir Forest?

3rd Sword Dancer is in Iselia Forest near entrance close to Dirk's place.

Thanks. I don't have any all-divides, and funny thing, I haven't found one yet during my almost 30 hours of play. I want to use one for that fight.

There's one in Triet Ruins, Meltokio Sewers and Latheon Gorge. I forget if there are more.

I'd act on this if you want it, before its gone for good and be like $300 or more on eBay.

EDIT: And.... its gone. Wow, that was quick. But it does say temporarily, I guess you could get lucky.

Managed to get Tales of Xillia LE for $20 since it's apparently been on clearance for a while now. It's gonna have to go in the backlog since there's other stuff on my plate, not to mention running a GAF tournament and being involved in a PokeGAF project.

Very true that the EU version feels weak =( but I just wanted to see whether it was lost partway from Zavvi or the deliveryman being shady. Seems that it may be a shady deliveryman, did you get the package from a courier (please don't let it be Yodel) or via Royal Mail?

And as the thread goes on, impressions seems that this is a disappointing "HD remaster" =(

And this is why we can't have nice things scalpers. Gosh I hate those people. I know they are making money, but they are making it hard for others that want to buy a copy for what its being sold for.

And I owe it to a Gamestop that went above and beyond. The manager there had just bought her copy of it, and she felt so bad that she was going to give me hers, but I told her not to.

So, Sunday, she emailed the warehouse to see if there were any left. It was a longshot, but she said she'd try.

Today, before I got to work, I got the phone call that it came in. She took the $25 off that I had got back from the original with no hassle.

I almost told her I loved her.

Now, to play it.

You could get the title off of PSN with the money you saved (the first game anyway) and keep your CE unopened.

I bought both games digitally so I ain't missing out.

So I've been trying for a few days now to get enough chips in the casino to get that stupid kendama. Does anyone have any tips for this? Should I just save up enough gald to buy 250 chips?

I got two CEs, I didn't know if I was going to get a cancellation or something so I tried to cover my bases. I opened one of them and the second one is still sealed to keep in my collection forever. I kind of want to open just to make sure nothing inside is damaged so I might do that.

I got enough chips to get Raine's Costume and the Forget-Me-Not (I don't know what it does but I assume I'll need it for a full item collection). I spent enough money to get 100 chips, and then basically saved and lucked out at blackjack for a few hundred more. Just save, bet 100, and hope you win the first time, get double chips back. Save and do it again.

Then I basically just tried my luck at the 100 chip slot machine for a few hours while doing something else.

Unfortunately the closest save point is in the Altamira hotel.

The fight at the end of the Niflheim book against
Kratos, Yuan, and Mithos
is pretty tough. All Divide helped a bunch.

Fought Sword Dancer 2 on the first time passing through the area and he wrecked my shit. I was left with 2 Orange Gels and 2 Life Bottles. HDTV input lag is really messing with my ability to switch to another party member, immediately magic guard/backstep, and switch back.

Not sure how this would affect your setup, but you can set magic guard for different party members to the left and right triggers.

Welp, I just found out waaaay late into the game that I missed out on the "I Hate Gels" title because I didn't have Genis in my party at the time of the Pronyma fight. I didn't know it was a requirement to have him in there.

In my experience they wait until after they finish casting their spell to use it, while they get murdered by the enemy's Spark Waves in the meantime, so I just switch to them and unpause just for the fraction of a second needed to hit guard + down or back. It took me about 2-3 seconds to do it on the GC version. I swear sometimes Colette in particular just will not stop her incantation no matter how many times I tap Square.

I only have 2 shortcuts anyway because during the PS2 porting process Namco thought it was a brilliant idea for the d-pad, the left stick, and the right stick to control movement. You know, for all those people with two thumbs on their right hand.
