The only terrible characters are Rush and Irina. Rush is a moron and Irina's about as interesting as lesbian porn. Everyone else is "okay," and Emma is the only great one. But you don't play TLR for the characters or story (though some of the recruitable units you can get are pretty cool).
TLR absolutely does have something going for it: the battle system. I completely disagree with you on that part. The music is another thing it does well.
What didn't you like about the battle system?
I like it because you actually need to employ tactics to win.The battle system is atrocious. How do you even like it?
My experience that made it clear how bad the battle system was this:
Boss's attack deals ~52% of my health. That is a 2hko. However, because I am not below a certain % of health the game does not allow me to heal whatsoever. Boss proceeds to kill me on his second swing.
Not being able to choose your moves due to some arbitrary bullshit is crap.

SOURCE ENGINE!Rundown of match:
> Takes two tries to connect
> Have to reconnect once
> Now it's even worse
> Hey Hl2.exe, NEATO
> Okay, let's freeze match so I can reconnect
> Oh, can't connect while it's frozen
> Twenty minutes later they realize
> Finally, their server kicks me for some reason
I'm counting Waste as my last match, I didn't even get to play this time.
I heard various other complaints about lag, so I'm blaming the server.
Hilariously my computer runs Skyrim and Just Cause 2 at high (which was the recommended setting and runs like silky smooth butter) better than TF2 at min. THIS MAKES NO SENSE.
You have the worst luck with TF2. I have occasional crashes, but man, you have it rough.Rundown of match:

Your experience could easily be explained as the boss hitting a Union with too many units, which equals more damage because there are more things to hit with an AoE attack. And if it KOs that Union, other Unions can revive the one that got KO'd. That, or you simply couldn't heal because you don't have enough herbs, which can and does happen if you aren't careful. It's possible that you also have units that can't heal.
What boss were you facing?
Don't know what to tell you, then. I guess we'll just agree to disagree.I was not out of herbs. I did not have too many units in my Union.
Amazing <3
I didn't watch the videos. I didn't check thefro's post about the rollout, and no one else seemed to have mentioned it either. I didn't realize the respawn was so bad, in which case it would have been better to force a push with only one or two people down, instead of waiting until around three go down. I wasn't on my game, and should have won a few more DM fights. It was an embarrassing loss, and if there wasn't so much lack of preparation at the beginning we could have been the ones rolling them. I let myself get too distracted by other games this past week, primarily Guild Wars 2 and Tales of Graces f.
We're definitely going to practice more on Borneo. We should not lose a third time.
You missed a step. See that it's 4 on 4 > Join as Heavy.Join as Heavy > Win Game > Everyone quits.

If the twenty minutes is the case, then you neglect to mention that during that 20 minutes, you were in mumble, without a mic, listening to us ask the entire time what you were doing, without telling any of us (except maybe proven, who still didn't know what was going on) what was going on.Rundown of match:

I read the post and looked at the rollout thing, and I think quote did too with the whip, but presumably everyone else did as well since their demoman and sniper and spy prevented us from getting out the doorways on the right side without losing several people, I think.I didn't watch the videos. So, lately TF2 has been taking forever/crashing when disconnecting from a server or quitting the game. :S Yay for updates!
B)
I have the same problem.
It was nice to play with you guys a little bit last night! Between basic, tech school, and starting to work out in the operational air force, it hasn't give me much time to play games at all in the past 10 months but plan on seeing me around more!
haha, did you idiots lose again?
Hey Borg, was that you using that new rocket launcher last night? The one that fires 3 rockets. That shit was cool.
I only recently discovered that your name is from South Park. I was watching the episode where he gets murdered with my gf, and I was like, "Oh, it's Clyde frog!" True story.
lol BBP, why u so slow? also, why'd you erase the "Big Booty Paul" text from your avatar?

I am woefully behind on my South Park. I just watched the Shake Weight episode. So fucking funny.lol BBP, why u so slow? also, why'd you erase the "Big Booty Paul" text from your avatar?
I will not let these false allegations stand. He obviously has a small booty.
I would never! I thought we were on the same team most of the time anyway. That's the first time I've seen that launcher in use.I use it yeah but I didn't do anything cool with it last night. I actually embarrassed myself quite a few times, once I think when I was going after you on the last point of Cashworks. Oh wait, I get it. You're mocking me.
Can you help me be a jet pilot? It was nice to play with you guys a little bit last night! Between basic, tech school, and starting to work out in the operational air force, it hasn't give me much time to play games at all in the past 10 months but plan on seeing me around more!
KSRF/TF2 Gaf who want to play, how's Thursday night sound for playing a couple rounds (each side attacks & defends 2x each) on pl_borneo?
I figure HL on, no stopwatch just so we can learn the map.... maybe take the second time around seriously like a real intrasquad scrimmage. Would like to have everyone who's playing Monday at least try to make it.
Then we can do a scrimmage against another team before Monday at some point.
I admire your perseverance, while on RED you made it all the way to the last RED spawn on Cashworks before the cart had even reached the first point. I mean that's at least a 2 minute journey without seeing anyone else, but you said GOD DAMN IT I MADE MY CHOICE AND I'M STICKING WITH IT.
Can you help me be a jet pilot?
If we have a server *wink wink wink yeef* then sure. My attendance depends largely on time though. Both how far ahead I know what time it is, and also the later the better.
Who do I talk to do become a jet pilot killthekampers?
I couldn't get into The Last Remnant. I didn't quite get the battle system and the game didn't make me want to learn it so I just dropped it.
Who gives out the Lion's Den info?
That frog right there.
