Does anybody else think they're setting up a passing of the torch with Liam in case Tyler decides to leave anytime soon?

I don't exactly keep up with acting news and challenges but I suppose it's possible.

EDIT:

Unless your A/B list, I can't imagine actors turning down work. If possible, ride it out all the way to till the end, You don't know where or when the next job will come next. Even if they find some other opportunity, there's no guarantee that they'll get the part. Tyler plays the main character of the show. How many times is that going to happen throughout his career? If he's smart he'll ride this out till the end THEN focus on what's next. There are plenty of actors out there better than him imo.

I just hope Tyler realizes he's not a good actor and Teen Wolf is a gift from god for him.

I'm getting strong vibes that's the case. Probably not for another Season or 2 he has to EARN being a True Alpha (what ever the fuck that means).

I'm really curious to see what path Dylan takes after the Mazerunner premieres hopefully it does well.

Another great episode. Sooo much fun.

It would be a bit boring for a reveal I guess, but for now the clues seems to be pointing to the Calaveras being behind the Benefactor thing. They were involved in the whole Mexico/Kate business, so it would make sense they'd follow the gang back to Beacon Hills to steal from the Hales, as they would certainly know about the Vault like Kate did. That long pep talk with Argent at the end made me feel like they'd want to wipe out all supernatural creatures and set up the dead pool scenario, with werewolf money to boot. Maybe it was them who also set the Berserkers out too somehow, since it would fit with the idea of using enemy resources for their own benefit.

On an unrelated note, Hoechlin's acting is much better this season. He was by far the worst of the main cast in previous seasons imo, but he's really upgrading. Good for him.

Man they are really sending that Liam sex train full steam ahead. That weightlifting scene, the general sleevelessness, all that shower business, wat. Stahp. I need an adult.

(Preferably a strapping athletic one to bring me back to an age-appropriate place.)

Jackson's a jerk but not a diabolical mass murdering jerk. If the Benefactor is anyone we've met before, it's gotta be Gerard.

If something dumb happens to Parrish before he has a chance to become a series regular and join the main gang and out-hunk every other hunk on this hunk-filled show, I am seriously done. Don't fuck this up Jeff.
Seriously LOL. They're firing on all cylinders with him. 👀

Worse than Posey? Doubtful.

No one is worse than Posey, but at least he has often weird/hilarious expressions when he tries to be menacing or sad. Can't remember how many times I was tempted to gif those moments.

Allison's death was hilarious because of it.
I laughed when he tried to be angry/threatening against the shitty teen assassin. He looked far too much like Dean Cain in Lois&Clark. I basically fell off my chair.

You know you have a problem when you're out-acted by a new 15 year old guy who had nothing particular to do yet.

Lol I was wondering when someone was going to bring this up.

You should be making and posting all these GIFs.

Liam is better than Tyler, but thus far he is pretty run of the mill imo.

My point exactly :p

On the other hand there aren't many really good actors in this. Stiles dominates everything, and I can see Lydia being a candidate, but that's basically it.
Malia seems to have potential but maybe it's just her beautiful face clouding my judgment.

The adults all seem to do a pretty good job. With the exception of Deaton. From what I remember of Malia's actress from Secret Circle she's really good so here's hoping we get some pretty good material for her later on. I hope they don't drag this Peter Hale plotline out though.

lol tbh my beef with Hoechlin was more that Derek was kinda needless for long stretches in the previous seasons and his wooden acting (which seems to have improved this season) ended up adding to that whenever he was on the screen. I confess that I do have a soft spot for Posey because he's so funny and cute out of the show. Still, not much of a point in comparing in the end, as much as I like both of them it's a matter of the lesser turd as far as their acting chops go.

Dylan is king!

Yeah, I have no idea where they plan to go with the Peter thing. I guess it will be revealed at some point and she'll become an official Hale, but I don't see how that would change too much. There's hilarious potential between her and Peter though, so there's that. I'm hopeful for her character in an case, she's getting much better material already in comparison to what she got last season and I hope it only gets better from here. I dig that they're finally exploring the fact she's supposed to be wild and stuff for living as a coyote for years instead of only making her another sassy girl™.

I wouldn't mind. He has been kind of a wall flower that they have to shoe horn into the plot the last couple seasons.
Yeah I would be ok with Derek leaving my thing is he's supposed to be some sort of mentor to Scott but doesn't really do much mentoring in the first place and spends most of his time largely away from the group while simultaneously hanging out with a mass murderer who also killed his sister.

That trailer gave me chills it was so good.
Looks like Scott might actually
kill
in this season..

EDIT:
A few updates from the Teen Wolf SDCC panel:

Danny is coming back
Season 5 will include 20 episodes
"Stalia is going to hit a rocky road." - Jeff Davis
"Lydia finally has some romantic freedom." - Holland Roden
There is something special going on between Melissa and Sheriff Stilinski
FUCK

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa

Anywhere we can catch the trailer and a full update?

Looks like Scott may be able to turn into a wolf also or that wolf is peter.

Liam's growing on me, truth be told. I love that shot of Wolf Liam jumping. It's great. I guess he comes into his new life with gusto.

Honestly, that is a really well-cut trailer. TW Team is on point as usual.

Oh. Not here for Any Stiles/Malia breakup. They are infinity better than the other trash ship.

Truth.
