I didn't get anything special for completing.
Mind you, I lowered the difficulty to normal for the last two chapters cause it was getting ridiculous.
If they locked that Nina outfit behind higher difficulties, I'm gonna be mad.
Even worse, there's no sumo practitioner.

There are unlocks associated with story mode, yes.
I'm only about a third of the way through so far, but I think it's fantastic thus far. The narrator is awful, but otherwise it's Tekken af and highlights how batshit the core of the franchise has been surrounding the warring Mishima's. It's stupid and nonsensical in all the right ways, and I had the dumbest grin during some of the flashback fights.

Game is pretty cool apart from online not really working (although minimal lag when the matches do happen). Ganryu's moveset should be returned, but if they want to replace the character with a different kind of sumo/person guy that's fine

There is no way to see the ingame installation progress on PS4?
Not alone here on ps4 either. Had one connection out of like 7 attempts during player match last night. Game constantly gave me opportunities with 4+bar quality opponents but immediately either gave errors trying to accept or refused to work. After like ten minutes of failing and hitting a training dummy with errors, one finally connected and the match went smoothly. Looooong loads to sync though. Not a pleasant online experience at all.

What platform are you on? You can use me as a training dummy as I try to get back into the groove of Tekken.
I am; Roger and Lei are my two biggest wants at the moment, but that (Roger's) style is harder to sum up. And I did play some Ganryu on the side. More in 6 than Tag 2.
Mostly I don't like how many unique fighting styles that have been left by the wayside, and I think it's a little silly that more people are asking for Anna over the interesting styles that don't have any form of representation in the game. But I guess people gotta have their femme fatales.
It really does harken to Tekken 5 when the tag line read 'HEIHACHI MISHIMA IS DEAD' - Harada can't commit to his promises. I thought he was gonna kill Kazuya/Jin/Heihachi and start with a clean slate, call it Shin Tekken or something.
How much money did you get started the end of it?

It's not like the Jack-4 in-game even looks like the Jack-4 from the Tekken 5 intro. They looked much closer to the classic Tekken 1-2 Jack than Tekken 5 and beyond Jack.
I thought she had some connection to Heihachi first?

Online seems a bit too inconsistent. Getting desynced in the middle of matches with what is now 3 separate people.
Unrelated, but I've finally decided to play exclusively Katarina until I'm comfortable enough with her. Once I feel like I've "gotten gud" at Tekken, then I'll switch over to the StarBurst Kid, Claudio Serafino.
What resources do you guys use for frame data? I need to know now how safe/unsafe my moves are as Katarina.

I have the revision with the hayabusa buttons. There is a touchpoint on the side facing away from the player.
The Hori stick that I have have no touchpad like this. I can't seem to figure out how to get the restart position in practice mode to work. I wish they made it to L3 or R3 buttons like some other games...

When you get a match going it's great 9 out of 10 times. But getting a match going is rough. Connection errors up the wazoo. Right now your best bet is waiting for player matches through warm-up.
That's actually what I'd love, fresh start strip back the mechanics and just make a lean Fighter like Tekken 3. I stopped playing Tekken at 5 and this still doesn't compel me to return. Story and most of the new characters actively piss me off whereas once they were the reason I played Tekken.

Force your stick to ps3 mode for legacy support and it switches to Select + O to reset ect...

I played against a Gigas player and he did this weird ass grab which did around 40% of my health bar in 1 or 2 hits.
It wasn't a formal "grab" with the pink effect and the arms, he just picked me up and rushed forwards. Is that like a blockable grab or something?

Glad the current netcode is shit and it's not just me.
Installed, loaded up, watched the (awesome) intro, practiced with my boy Yoshimitsu for a bit, realised he no longer has one of my favourite moves, went to play online, got about 8 or so 4+bar matches, every single one of them disconnected before I even got to fight.
Turned the game off.
then your stick must've been the same as mine, go make your hori stick enter ps3 mode
on the top right of your stick there are 5 switches, the one on the most right should be either 4 or 3, flick it to the right for ps3 mode
in ps3 mode, share + X button is position restart in practice

It's a command grab you have to break with 1+2,if it hits you close to the wall, well, you saw the damage.
