OK I put the jukebox on shuffle all, and now I wish there was a little pop-up to tell you what music track is playing. There's so many cool songs! I know, a small nitpick but why not! That's like the first thing I would have said if I were a playtester during development!
Aside from all the online ones, the only one I have left is the 50k damage in practice mode. That's going to be time consuming, just spamming rage arts.
I'm pretty sure that Heihachi will have unlocked some hidden power inside of him (maybe the thing Jinpachi had that they still haven't talked about) to survive or he'll some back as someone who's "not alive nor dead" or something. He mentioned throwing Kazuya off a cliff and proving he's not human and all that but you then look at everything Heihachi can do himself. That's just not human, he's got something in him and that'll likely show up in the next game.
Did my first tourny on PC. There were a couple 1 bar connections to me so I was worried, but they were playable albeit not ideal. Came away with the grand prize of 3mil.

Holy shit I made it to an online match! And I won! So does my Leo always get super sweaty at the end of a match, or is it just an oily face.... first time I've noticed it.
Yeah, online is a mess. What I played was pretty smooth at 4+ bars but it took 15 minutes to actually connect to anybody.
And I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed at customization this go round. Maybe it's late, maybe I'm tired...but I can't equip a hat if I change the color of the default hairstyle? Ok.

Is this about Akuma? With the treatment he got for this game, I can't see how anyone would say Tekken treats their guest characters badly. Guy got a main spot in the story and an incredibly faithful look and moveset, probably better than his SFV equivalent.
Story mode was a bit meh,but had some cool moments. And loved the part around
Tekken 5's intro, since I always liked that intro and the music
. So playing it was really cool.
The invisible armor in the matches sucked a few times, but managed anyway.
Disappointed that most of the characters had nothing to do with it. Jin was a bit baffling that he's
asleep during most of it.
. Understand the reasoning, but sucks as a fan of him. I wanted to learn a bit about Shaheen also, but nothing about him. Then the Character Episode had this really generic and basic storyline...and a comic relief ending...oh well.
Now to finish the rest of the episodes. Tried online and no dice, but in no rush as I'm not big into playing online. XD
Been messing around in lobbies and tournaments. Most of the connections have been very smooth (and I'm on wifi). Tournaments are pretty awesome. You get huge rewards and it's super satisfying to come out on top at the end.
I was in losers bracket and I beat the last guy thinking I won the tournament. Didn't realize I had to beat him twice.

Simply didn't fit and felt forced in the story. The comment is not about how he plays but how he was tacked on on the story and there is not really much there about him.
So as of right now on PS4 lobby (dont know if same issues on PC)
1. Matches will sometimes disconnect towards the end. It looks like a rage quit but it really isn't since your opponent still appears in the player lobby.
2. You have to press X to start the match otherwise it skips you and puts you at the bottome of the lobby list. I was jamming X for 30 seconds just now and it still skipped me to the bottom.
Harada got some shit to do along with broken ps4 matchmaking lol
Please...someone tell me how to beat devil Kazuya....I think I've lost 50+ times now and I can't fight with Heihachi...he like my least liked character so this is truly a battle
Still though how the fuck do y'all remember these massive movelists lmao. I'm assuming most characters have a handful of best / most viable moves for a given situation though, so maybe that makes it easier?
Yeah I think Heihachi will get some justice because honestly the guy went out like a boss. Heihachi's been able to do so much and survive so much so I really don't see how he won't come back. It just felt like a setup.
I'm a long time stick user and my input is that whenever you can use a pad, do it. I wish I could use a pad for everything now but my muscle memory is screwed for many fighters.
Jukebox is garbage and missing a lot of tracks. How do you have a Tekken 2 tracklist without Head Shaker and As Bald As? The fuck? Completely killed my "match each stage with a Tekken 2 stage" vibe.

I love Tekken 7's track. I don't get the hate. There are some good ones out there that I like such as g-corp stage, and even some of the ones from story mode's final battle is quite good IMO. I am quite pleased with it.
This difficulty curve in story mode is ridiculous. That final bonus stage is really really hard, even on the easiest difficulty. I don't even care about the story, I just wanna finish it to get it done so I can go back to character stories/treasure battle, fuck you

T7's soundtrack is a mixed bag. Half I love, half I hate. The issue is that Tekken as a series has such amazing music even if this was "pretty good" it would still be at the lower tier of things.

Exactly. Some tracks are just all around excellent, some have good parts and bad parts and some are just bad.
For example, the Arena stage music round 1. The beginning part is awesome and really done well. Then the intense dubstep part starts and it's just shit.
I am so terrible at this game but I find it fun as hell and I am dedicated to learning it. Just playing through arcade mode with a bunch of characters right now to try and get a feel for it and decide who I'm going to play.
From the beginner videos and general consensus here I understand that there tends to be relatively universal types of moves as between the characters but I'm having trouble just understanding the system generally. I just need to practice more to get a sense of it, I'm sure.
Presentation of this game gets me hyyypppeee but then I enter a fight and I'm total shit lol
