My safest bet is Ryu and Chun-Li since he posted their artwork years ago so probably made models for them already.
Is Sayah really retiring from Tekken? Are we really gonna lose GAF's best player over some bs?

Random thoughts on "special characters":
- At first I thought we'd maybe see a playable version of the Devil Kazumi boss, but that now goes against the promise not to charge for what's already in the game.
- I lean against the Street Fighter theory because they would save that for TxSF. Akuma and the mechanics of Eliza are likely the most we'll get from that universe, but they may include a charge character to see how that plays out.
- With that said, one way the Tekken team could REALLY spike up the interest for T7 from fighting gamers who aren't already fans is to add one or two Street Fighter EX characters. Skullomania alone might exceed the Akuma announcement hype. Doctrine Dark would fit into the "look" of the game and he has a charge move Namco could play test for TxSF (though perhaps he has too many gadget mechanics for Tekken).
- I wonder if someone like Miharu could be considered a "special character" for inclusion. If they gave her a more unique moveset (she's a Ling clone) it could work, but some would complain she is a "classic character" since she was playable in T4 and Tag 2. Paying for Kunimitsu would be a bit controversial for the same reason.
- Another source for known "special characters" would be a Soul Calibur cross over. Maybe snag a fighter left out of the last SC release, like Zasalamel or Talim or Amy. Zasa's signature weapon is too big for Tekken, but I'd welcome someone like Talim if only because she's Filipina and can tell Josie in Tagalog to stop crying all the time.
- In the end, my guess is they'll go for some pop culture cross over characters like they did with Yoda, Darth Vader and Spawn in Soul Calibur 3/4.
I kinda hope it's somebody from another media source besides another current fight franchise.
Yeah, I hope the new guys will want to stay around. We are gonna have such a great time together when Tekken 7 releases.
I hope there is some people from Europe here, will be nice for some netplay when T7 releases.
I'm from Europe. I'll be up for playing with pretty much everyone.I hope there is some people from Europe here, will be nice for some netplay when T7 releases.
Oh there is gonna be a good bunch of european players, all of them will crawl out of hibernation when june comes.
I'm from europe. we sometimes play, Squrriel Soup, Sasuke, Greyfox, Pachimari and I

If we get guest characters, then I hope it'll be Ryu and Chun-Li honestly. As they are both iconic and super cool.
He already said he'd get it used. Scratch that "maybe", he will play the game and he'll like itYou're going to play Sayah. Just admit it.
This image is soo good.Brilliantly designed.
I love the fact that Kaz and Hei's face are NOT lined up symmetrically. This little difference creates maximum dissonance and adds depth to the image..
I don't think I've seen this done before.Usually when this kind of design is used its symmetrical and identical on either side.
As for buying Tekken 7 on a console, the issue for me is that I don't know if the game is getting crossplay.
If it isn't, I'll have to pay for an online subscription, if I was going to do that, I would end up having to pay over $100.
At that rate, I might as well just buy the deluxe version of PC or whatever.
But for right now it's really early and I'm just waiting for more info.
This guy's more of a buzz kill than Buzz Killington. It's not.

IGN put up their video tour of the development offices from the Tekken project:

Not much new, but there is some Kuma vs Akuma action and some early stuff from Eliza.

Lol somebody has to be neutrally realistic around here.

Super neat video. I could watch behind the scenes stuff like this for hours.
And while I do like the Harada/Murray tag team, it's nice to see some new (at least to me) faces from the Tekken Project team.
What I would give to visit the studio and browse their archives.
dat fur tech
I wasn't planning on buying it even used but I'm slowly changing my mind. With everything going on in the world right now especially after this first week of the Trump presidency, the Tekken 7 bullshit over the past 2.5 years seems really trivial in comparison.

Not sure if anyone seen it, footage of the console version Kaz vs Kaz on the new stage. Think the soundtrack here is godlike. Imo though
edit : i actually love the stage, I'm a fan of areas which are cut of civilization or desolate abandoned stages, don't like crowds or cheering pedestrians. This one and Mishima Dojo are my favorites in T7 now.
