Congrats to Djokovic for the Miami title. Missed most of the match because of crappy internet, but I hear it was quite the beat down. Thats.. curious.

5 of the last 9 masters Djokovic won, Nadal the other 4. Djokovic won the last 4 masters (+ world tour finals) and Nadal the 4 before.

Total domination.

That makes Stan's victory at the Aussie all the more impressive, beating both of them on the way.

Good victory for Novak, winning Indian Wells and Miami back to back is tough. He was certainly helped by the two WO he got, but he nonetheless defeated both Murray and Nadal in straight sets. He'll need that confidence for the clay season.

So Djokovic just won every masters final (6/6) and Nadal (4/7)? :p

Nadal will probably have 30 Masters before he retires. That's absurd.

18 of the 26 Masters 1000 wins of Nadal were on clay. That's 70% ! His record is heavily based on his clay domination.

As for the M1000 hall of fame I'd add that, if we're counting titles before the ATP era (hence Lendl being second), we should also count McEnroe's 19 titles, Connors' 17 titles and Borg's 15 titles.

Also, as we are posting stats :

Winners of the Indian Wells-Miami combo

- Courier (1991)
- Chang (1992)
- Sampras (1994)
- Ríos (1998)
- Agassi (2001)
- Federer (2005, 2006)
- Djokovic (2011, 2014)

*sees that Hingis victory on Tennis Channel*

Me: "I thought she was banned."

Anyway, another staggering stat from the Djoker: he has a 100% win-rate in finals after winning the first set.
Federer: 86%
Nadal: 86%
Murray: 81%
