Was this a 'proper' riot with flipped over burning cars, looted buildings, and injured police, you know, a "mostly peaceful..." kinda thing, or was it a bunch of walking, yelling, and trash on the ground? The word "riot" has been debased into meaninglessness without actual footage. And even then, they tend to show footage of something else and "forget" to mention that.

Yeah, just realised this. Two men arrested for the Peaceheaven mosque incident. Ricky Ryder and Jack Slowey. They're DEFINITELY British. Fucking idiots.

Bumping this thread given the big news of this sentencing and statement of how the actions of the police thwarted what they believe could have been the UK's deadliest terror attack.
Really interesting to hear how "Farouk" was an undercover operative.
The other stand out element, which I think was addressed earlier in the thread, was how the brother Bilel knew about the planned attack but did not raise the alarm. We had that with the synagogue attacker who stated to people before hand how he wanted to join the Islamic State. No one raised the flag on him either, further pushing the complexities of these "multi-cultural" places where these cultures don't like each other. Bilel in this case had his brother, but also believed in his goal, showing you don't have to be the active person in this to allow chaos to happen, you can simply say nothing.
