The Witcher is behemoth ip at this point.

After TW3 and how they handled CP after release (and amazing PL) people have a lot of faith in CDPR. I hope they don't fuck this up for some woke points (Ciri is uglier already).

Now when it comes to Intergalactic... I can't say much more than I already said in other threads, haha.

This is a bit alarming for Intergallactic. As much as I'm impress with the graphics of intergalactic, I hope there will be some changes on character design (Hopefully there will be no woke agenda especially twisted gender ideology to be push or force in the game) It will be such a waste with all that technical beauty if the game will just flop due to some agendas being push or force.

That surprises me. Seems to me that Intergalactic has generated an awful lot of "social noise." I guess I'm hanging out on GAF too much, lol.

lmao, I thought it looked pretty cool, but restricting comments was a dumb move. Its not like devs will get hurt by it, while making 500k/year

Witcher is a heavy juggernault. I'm pretty positive about it, and I'm not even cool with the whole Ciri being main protagonist stuff(already said my piece about her). I'm super sure they will deliver despite my worries, hell I can even decide to play the game if they show more stuff. So theres no "dislike" points from me in the video, I gave it a like despite my reaction.

This Intergalatic crap is another matter entirelly. The character is ugly and the design is ugly, first impression is absolute terrible. Really feels like doesn't resonate with the masses at all.

TW4 is going to be massive, some people got no idea. TW3 sold 50 million copies, and despite the shitty Netflix show, the amount of trailer views show there's still tons of engagement for this IP.

As for Intergalactic, it just doesn't look interesting. I know people have brought up the tone and music, but the setting just seems to lack interesting visuals and flair. Like you've got this trailer that's trying to give off vibes that it's a retro 80s sci-fi that's here to remind you of Akira or Cowboy Bebop, and then you've got a protagonist that looks like a fucking NPC, who comes off very obnoxious. That image that keeps going around with her sipping on a straw is doing the game no favors. Naughty Dog is supposed to be an absolute power house of a developer. So the amount of engagement this game has, coupled with the amount of dislikes, it's not off to a good start. First impressions are everything.

ZZZ beat out Intergalactic.

Intergalactic got lots of press articles, but hardly any posts. And a lot of those posts (just go by YT) will be negative ones too.

To be fair. It's the only new IP on that list and didn't show any gameplay.

The real test for the interest around this game will be seeing it in action, that's where I'm at.

If you think you need to disable comments for something you put on the internet then I don't know what to say.

Did I implied something like that? I am not aware of that.

Its just that the metric, which is used in the analysis in the OP counted comments on social media, that's all. I am just saying that it was needless

Another generic space game with some weird cyberpunk/anime theme, versus a known fantasy setting built in an already established, rich world? Not to mention it being a sequel to one of the greatest games ever created.

I'm sure I'll get both, but give me The Witcher any day of the week.

What was shown at TGA just wasn't interesting enough. But It'll do fine, Playstation fans will hype it and it will no doubt have lots of noise and hype in the gaming media from being the next big thing from Naughty Dog. And the Steam release will probably have main character makeup mods or more within a day. I'm def excited for it, among the top 5 for future unveiled games for me.

How are they calculating "posts" ?

Is that tweets? Or do they have someone scanning forums like GAF or Era ?

Refering to ND disabling them, obviously they thought it was needed.
If you create something and think there's nothing wrong with it then you don't have that thought.
Unless they're full aware.

Nobody else notice that everything apart from Witcher* and ND-thing (sorry, but is a fucking terrible, unmemorable title) everything else is already released games?

What does that say about a 3 and a half hour showcase filled with up and coming releases?

Also that Indiana Jones is no#2 should speak volumes about how relative the rankings are to actual buzz lol

Insufficient attention is not Intergalactic heretic profit's (fuck, its such a bad name) problem.

*big pre-existing franchise with a huge audience,

I remember the times when the ND logo could blow up the internet. How the mighty has fallen. It was a terrible reveal

True, but it was more of a critigue of such move in age of internet, if you can't discuss it in their post, you will do so on other social media/boards. Also as it goes videos with less comments gets deboosted on social media, thus lower reach, etc
