Where is he commentating? On Ch7?Kozak said:Jim Courier should learn to keep his mouth shut. They're both very young and in their 5th set. Give them a break.

I think the main issue is that there's no real strength, persé. But a weakness would be that he doesn't *really* seem to be crafting many shots. Didn't ever seem to dominate a point in that Cilic match, at least.Jay Sosa said:Happy for Marin, but real impressive showing from the 17 year old. Plays some pretty smart tennis. Besides his serve(which isn't bad but could be faster) I couldn't spot many weaknesses.
There is no way that Young gets taken to the woodshed by Hewitt. Young in four.Jay Sosa said:I'm just happy that Mr. Chip'n'Charge is back on duty.
Don't see him having a(ny) chance either (except Tsonga has health problems again) but It's nice to see someone play some good old serve and volley.
Oh and I'm not so sure about Young, if he finally is able to put together a complete match it could be tighter than a lot of people expect it to be. That said he'll probably lose 60 60 60 :lol

I thought she was going to pull it out of the bag when she came back from 5-1 in the lastWes said:Dulko just knocked out Ivanovic in three sets.
Boy, nothing has gone right for Ana since she did that FHM shoot.

You got Henin right, I'll give you that.Rafa=FedKilla said:The match between Donald Young and Lleyton Hewitt will be interesting. Hewitt has trouble against players that take pace off the ball. Young has great touch and hands, but his forehand tends to be very loopy, which could disrupt Hewitt's timing. Young in 4. Henin in 2.
That match will be amazing on paper... but why do I have a feeling Venus will rise to the occasion in spades?Zeni said:Venus played better than expected. Looks like it'll be her vs. Wozniacki in this quarter.

fuck that shit. i didnt even get to see her play.
womens tennis is useless these days without the hot ladies.

edit: aaaaand Donald collapses and loses the set. This is why he hasn't done shit for 4years.

Maybe this is a bit of an overcompliment(?) but Young reminds me a bit of Federer when he was young and still forming. He often showed flashes of intense brilliance coupled with emotional slumps. Granted, Federer was only like that for, what, 18 months or something? But still, the potential in Young is deafening.Rafa=FedKilla said:You are correct. Young really needs a new coach and to stop being such a momma's boy. I don't know if any of you have seen the film Unstrung, but it has a perfect example of his lack of concentration during practice. Donald needs a coach that not only expects him to focus, but demands it.

Still don't know why he's seeded 33. Anyone know much about him? Any of you Yanks followed his career at all?
Because Gilles Simon (15th seed) dropped out before the open and Isner was next on the list and got bumped up to become the "official" 32nd seed.BowieZ said:Well... Isner [snip]

Thanks. Looks like he's earned it!ShyGuy said:Because Gilles Simon (15th seed) dropped out before the open and Isner was next on the list and got bumped up to become the "official" 32nd seed.
