Basically, Spike wants the VGA's to be the new E3, Gamescom and TGS with all the announcements and without everything else.

If they insist on keeping the moniker of Video Game "Awards" they need to make it a serious award show and not a "please the hip celebrity obsessed public" show like all the other crappy award shows like the VMA's.

If you aren't, then just call it something entirely different, get rid of the awards and make it purely an hour of announcements or something.

That Epic game was CG so it's hard to get a real idea on how good it will be or how it will play. Nice to see them try something different though.

For people that are disappointed, come on. You dont expect Epic to make a HL/Portal/ Uncharted/Skyrim quality game do you? They make engines and simple fun games. They dont make legendary gaming experiences.
