It's Grammy weekend folks. It's about that time of the year again where we watch our favorite music artists either get the awards they deserve or get snubbed. The year of 2014 may or may have not been the strongest or most diverse for music depending on your taste, but we make lemonade with the "lemons" offered. This year we're in for a special treat in performances, ranging from AC/DC, to Hozier, to Rihanna, to Madonna, to John Legend and many more. We'll even have a Selma Tribute from Beyoncé. Did I mention that this'll be the first time in 6 years that Kanye returns to the Grammys? This year there will be a Grammy Premiere Ceremony which takes place before the actual event, which will be streamed. During the Premiere event, some awards are given out to the nominees. Whether you're here just to stay for the lovely performances, the awards, or the inevitable meltdowns, this year's Grammy Awards will do its best to present to us with a summation of what 2014 had to offer. The Hype around the program is very strong, and it leaves many questions that are left to be answered in due time; Will Sam Smith sweep the awards and snatch AOTY from Beyoncé? Will Twitter be stable if Iggy wins Rap AOTY? Will Katy finally get a Grammy? How memorable will be the performances be? Will the nominees of your choice finally get their deserved recognition?
Stay tuned on CBS Sunday night at 8:00 pm EST. They'll be updates as time pass by.
