I thought the Rotom forms work on Wifi, even PBR (but doesn't show the new form, just has the stats and the move). I could be wrong, since it's been a long time since I've done Wifi!

It goes without saying that something that can only be accomplished via an external hacking device is out-and-out prohibited.

I don't think the alt forms work on wi-fi, as it would seem to break Diamond/Pearl compatibility.

- Syncronizers of any nature.
- Specialized trapper/catcher Pokemon. Roaming legendaries got you down? I can help.
- High-IV Dittos of any nature. Reduce the frustration onset by breeding tenfold!
- Power Items and Pokerus-infected critters. Don't even attempt to EV train without them.
- A few legendary Pokemon that I'm honestly just willing to throw away to increase available box space. Nothing really rare though.
- Pretty much any item you can think of. Don't nag me for stuff that's easily available, but if you don't feel like grinding for BP at the Frontier for rare stuff then yeah I can help.

Specify Ditto natures. I'd prefer to keep the total number of Pokemon to a multiple of 6, just 'cause that's as much that can be transferred in a single trade session. Post your FC and get online with 6 random trash Pokemon to trade.

Not sure what that list is for, but could I have a high-IV Ditto with an Adamant nature, one with a Timid nature, and one with a Modest nature? Those are good for raising Pokemon you want to have a high A, high Speed, or a high SA, right?

So would three Dittos, a trapper Pokemon, a Pokemon with Pokerus, and a Pokemon holding a Power Item? (what are the best Power Items for Speed, SA, or A)? If not I could settle for less, I'm just curious.

Bring Smeargle and Breloom when you're after a roamer. Bring only Breloom when you're after a stationary legend. Level up Smeargle until it matches the level of the roamer that you're searching for. Use repels to keep wild Pokemon of lower levels from appearing. (Smeargle must be faster than the roamer in order to use Mean Look. You may have to level him up some more to catch a particularly fast Latios/Latias/Raikou/Entei in HGSS or Zapdos in Platinum, in which case you'd have to not use Repels. Breloom's level can be as high as you want to take it as long as you have the badges for it.)

Lead with Smeargle:
- Mean Look to keep it from running.
- Ingrain to keep it from Roaring you.
- Double Team six times to max out evasion. (optional)
- Baton Pass to transfer all of these attributes to Breloom.

Switch to Breloom:
- Swords Dance three times to max out attack. (optional, but useful against those w/ recovery moves)

Your Azelf at very least requires a perfect Speed IV to have any chance of Taunting opposing Azelf leads, outspeeding anti-Lead Starmie (who is a very real threat to Azelf), and outspeeding Infernape (yours does). Everything else is icing on the cake, if you don't want to RNG/reset for weeks. Both Attack and Special Attack are critical, but you score most of your important OHKOs without investing in Attack anyways (via Explosion). A good Special Attack and Psychic though can mess (2HKO) with offensive Rotom forms who think they can switch in on Explosion, or Taunt.

Oh yeah, signing up for the tournament as well. Didnt fight on Saturday since I found out I messed up my Ampharos until it learns discharge. Leveled Mareep in the Pokewalker, and it missed it's first special thunder attack.

Survive? It depends on what exactly you mean, but remember that HG/SS cover the whole region that is in Fire/Leaf plus the Johto. So all pokemons and items that are in Fire/Leaf can be found in HGSS.

Top floor is for local wireless. Bottom floor is for Wifi. You should get a Pal Pad by talking to one of those people in the basement. The Pal Pad has your Friend Code and space to record other people's Friend Codes.

I've added links to breeding tips and IV calculators in the guide, and I've added a few EV training hotspots for HGSS. I'd like to add more, and I'd prefer that any locations (1) be applicable to both HG and SS, (2) include only Pokemon relevant to the stat that needs training, (3) be applicable at any time of day, and (4) include mostly low-level Pokemon. These attributes are listed in order of decreasing importance.

The tournament prize list in the OP has also been tweaked a little.

Soul Dew being allowed, would basically mean banning Lati@s, no questions asked. Brightpowder is gimmick at best, even when abusing Sand Veil/Snow Cloak. Someone could storm through the tournament with awesome luck with evasion and Brightpowder on everything, but it's more likely the guy with a well balanced team featuring Life Orb, Leftovers and Choice items will win.

Smogon OU rules currently allow Latias in play, but only without Soul Dew.

Evasion Clause seems to only apply to moves that boost your own Pokemon's evasion and nothing else. I assume the reasoning behind this is that the opponent can just switch out if you're dumb enough to waste a slot on Sand Attack and use it.

I was just looking at that combo, would make things easier for sure.

If I were to get a high IV Ditto and gave it an Everstone, would the nature pass down if bred with a female Pokemon? And if I gave it a power item, I wouldn't be able to control the nature, right?
