HELL YEAH!!! GRAND SLAM BELTRE! THANKS ISMAEL!!

Awesome slam yes but damn if I don't feel bad for Ismael. I liked the guy back when he was with the Dodgers and seeing him slip and fall like that on LoDuca's grounder hurt to watch.

Yeah, stumbling around like that must have been really shameful, but I don't feel too bad for him, I've always thought he was kinda soft, even though he might be a nice guy.

Poody

What program do you use to photoshop a picture?
That was such a setup for beltre. Once the bases were loaded i knew beltre would hit a grand slam

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!
Chi Sox win their 4th in a row. No Maggs and no Frank? No problem.

Minnesota loses, and the South Siders are back in first. Huge 3 game set with the Twins coming up monday-wednesday. I have tickets for Wednesday's game.

Greenie's back!!!

OMG another homer, this time Encarnacion!

Seriously though, Green's been hitting alot better since the All-Star break.

i dont' know what you guys saw, but those 3 Red Sox didn't "Gang up" on Sturtz. That bitch ran up BEHIND Gabe Kapler and grabbed him in a headlock. Anything that happens to the pussy after that is fair game in my book, even if it means getting beatdown by more than one person.

Dodgers didnt need to come from behind tonight -- nice change of pace! :D Beltre had a great first half but since the break he's been just ridiculous. In his last 8 games, he has 5 crush jobs, 15 RBIs (one in each game) and is hitting 14-26. Insane.

"In fact, at the moment, Beltre is the only player ranked in the National League's top five in all three Triple Crown categories -- average (.330, fourth), homers (27, third) and RBIs (71, fourth).

Hard to imagine a year ago this time Beltre was quite possibly headed out of L.A., and could have been had by the right taker in a trade. But Beltre didn't get traded, and he hasn't stopped hitting since. From July 20 of last season through Saturday night's game, a span of 162 games, Beltre is batting .301 (176-for-584) with 43 homers and 114 RBIs."

I didnt realize his agent was Scott Boras... :(

Oh damn. Well, nice haveing you here for at least one good year, Beltre. They should just call Boras "The Dodger Ass Raper".

Man, I remember when John Kruk was blasting Willie Mo Pena for his antics after hitting like his 5th HR (a big bat toss and a slow stroll around the bases).. now that MF is up to 15. Craziness.

No hit through 6 for the Cubbies. Good job at keeping Walker on the bench another day Dusty. Grudz needs to go to short and Gonzo HE GAWN.

Lamb just hit a two run double for the Asssstros. Almost a grand slam. 2-0 over the Crew in the 3rd.

No hitter through 7. Sadly, I'm rooting for it to happen so this team will wake up.

LOL. So am I. Maybe this is what it takes to get Walker into the games everyday.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
That wont wake up your headcase of a team...are they swinging for the fences in the game? How many K's does Milton have?

WOW the Stros can hit again against shitty teams and that was sweet seeing the Cubs comeback to only blow it with Hawkins on the mound again.

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!
Fucking Glanville ruined Milton's game. Shoulda had the no hitter.

and yeah, LMAO@"The Hawk"
Another bang up job.

The 90's was the first decade they missed playing each other since they began rumbling in the late 40s. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them square off again. Has there been any other two teams that have met the most in the WS?

Damn my Dodgers were handcuffed!

But winning the series 2 out of 3 aint bad. We now have 3 1/2 Game leads on Padres/Giants.

If the Dodgers want to make the World Series they'll need a better starting rotation (coughJohnson). Although it's ironic, the teams with the best rotations in the NL (Chicago, Florida, Houston) are really faultering. Given it's more due to injuries and putrid offenses, but still.

Does LoDuca have a bad average against Eaton? Roberts had a sore neck, but why wasn't LoDuca playing? And why didn't he bat if he was cathching late? Get a bat in the man's hands!

No idea, confused the hell outa me aswell.

I thought they should have chased Freddy Garcia a bit harder. But i dont think they have a good chance at getting Johnson. Slim chance maybe...

Tell me about it. Pettitte on the DL twice...And now Miller out 'til late August...Redding has really stunk, though the 5 innings of scoreless ball yesterday gives me hope...And only recently has the offense become non-anemic.

I really had no idea that Contreras was going to choke today. If he can pitch for Fidel fuckin Castro, he should be able to pitch in Fenway. When he's on, he's brilliant. When he's choking, it's a train wreck and then some.

They should send his wife back to Cuba and tell him that she doesn't come back until he grows some nuts.

contreras always gets owned by the red sox, they definitely know something about him. they scouted him heavily when they were trying to scout him and one of his old coaches works with the red sox now.

oh and im gonna say it for the rest of the season....that fight was no fuckin good.
