I hate watching this team bat. All they can do is hit home runs. Whenever there is a runner in scoring position they choke. Look what happened with Alou in the 5th. 1st and 3rd two outs. He tries to jack that high fastball out of the park and pop it up. All he needs to do is knock the ball in the gap and you get two runs.

I'm watching the game at home with friends and my Red Sox fan friend almost threw joints with my Yankees fan friend. Maybe it's time for the seventh-inning beer cutoff.

That fucking fight ruins the whole pace of the game. Any fan watching their team winning the game DOESN'T want a fight to erupt at all. As soon as the fight happened, my heart sank to the floor. Look at Sturtz and the way he gave up those 2 runs! He was totally in control before the fight!

The Redsox can win this game, it's not going to help their season.
Varitkek, Ortiz (in addition to his 5 games), and at least one other Redsock are going to get suspended. That's going to come back and bite them when they try and make a run.
If the Yankees go on to win this game though, I would count the Sox out of the wildcard.

The 9th inning was a microcosm of the Cubs season. Lead off double. Grudz can't do shit and bunt the runner to 3rd so he flies out (GeT IN WALKER DUSTY FUCK), Patterson strikes out, and Sammy strikes out swinging at shit! We can get some good players for Sosa. Unload his ass. Send him back to the south side for Mags!
If anything, we should cut him in the offseason. Put Hollandsworth back in right field (We have a better record with Hollandsworth starting than we do with Sosa starting) and then use that money to pick up NOMAH and Mags!

We're still up 8 1/2 games. Boston is going to have a lot of suspensions.
