yep, didnt allow JT to even do anything. Take away JT Snow and Barry Bonds and put the lineup against Gagne. Chances aren't too good

GAH. Gagne is so fucking gay! He's on the opposing team in the fantasy baseball league I'm on CBS Sportsline. This week is the championship game. Saves the past two nights make me angry!

My team is up 48 points: a comfy lead, but the guy had a lot of starters doubling up this week. 5 more starters going. I have three, so I'm still a little nervous.

He has: Lohse, Leiter, Clement, Drese, Thomson + possible Gagne saves

I have: Mulder (you better fucking rebound, asshole), Brazelton, Cory Lidle + possible Joe Nathan saves.

I WANT MY $150!

Damn it Poody u almost jinxed by celebrating early!!! GRRRRR. Perez was in the zone after those 2 HR's, probably his best game this year. I kicked myself for doubting him early on. Now we just need Lima Time to do his thang tommorow. WOOOOOOOO! :drunk:

Bonds only had one pitch to hit all game, and he fouled it; kind of hard to get a hit on a 97 MPH pitch when you havnt swung at anything all game :\

I was checking his stats, guys gut 100 K drop off from last year. Did he strike out 100 pitchers?

By my count, he struck out 27 pitchers last year (got Steve Traschel 6 times).

Maybe now, Torre will finally lose faith in this useless shmuck. His arm is dead. Move on.

I don't understand the drop off in Vazquez. He wasn't getting much shit and up till recently, was having a fairly good season.

I'm just typing what Torre's thinking. Obviously, he wants to put extra pressure on Brown tomorrow to pitch a perfect game.

The thing is, it would have been nice to lose by 1 or 2 runs. That wasn't good enough for Torre though.

Maybe he felt bad for the Sox after Pedro's "I'm their bitch" episode and wanted to help boost morale?

Maybe he thinks they can tag Foulke for 7 or 8 runs in the bottom of the 9th?

FYI, I went to St. John's around the same time as Nitkowski did. I hope that suck disease he has isn't local to that campus.
