Wow, I didn't realize the curb weight on the Fiesta is under 2500 lbs. That is a seriously surprising amount of power for that much car. I'll say now, though, that if the car doesn't have a LSD it's going to be a waste.

Ling mentioned that the same torque vectoring control system technology in the Focus ST will be at work in the upcoming hot Fiesta. The torque vectoring control system uses a combination of an electronic limited slip differential which uses the brakes to slow the inside wheel in a corner, and a electronic steering system which eliminates torque steer. Ford developed this system and the cars suspension on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
