Just pick up a book on Norse, Celtic, Chinese or Japanese mythology and find some obscure demi-god, Dragon, or spirit and name yourself after that. You can play it like "Yeah, I'm a history and mythology buff in my one hour of spare time I have everyday from playing WoW" So that way people don't think you're addicted.

Blizzard's naming policy is so full of holes and poorly enforced, borderline every single person in the game is in violation somehow, so it's not like it matters.

Any remote form of real world reference, and people (eg; spiteful kids) have a legit case to report you to trigger happy GM's. I've actually heard about people griefing with it, heh.

Yeah, not only is the naming policy ridiculously ambigous, but I read a thread about someone reporting a persons name because they lost a roll on an item. Nail in the coffin for me. Not going back to blizzard's site anymore.
