also...being paid to do porn isn't that weird or out of the ordinary. you could answer the wrong ad on craigslist and end up there. doing it and publicising it to people who could link you though, is kind of odd. especially some ole 'dudes running a train while someone holds a cellphone' type videos...I only respect 2 things. and production value is one of them.

edit: I read a Drake joke in a Batman comic. Took me 10 whole minutes to figure out who the fuck Drake was.

If only we hadn't fallen for the Caribbean cruise specials. We only have ourselves to blame.

Our allies have shown time and time again, reparations aren't happening. Just be happy you can sit in our restaurants and drink from our water fountains. They'll make the world better for themselves and allow us to benefit. But they aren't gonna just sit there and watch us be repaid for what we've suffered. That's unfair to them and the others that marched with King for us. We owe them really. Like, if we hadn't had them, we'd still be getting murdered for no reason and treated like less than. I am thankful for our allies

Reparations discussions are a quagmire. People know full well that equality in the US is impossible but want to call giving black people a financial boost offensive because it won't magically fix racism or because every group done wrong by the US isn't included in the plan or some other stupid fucking reason.

Next person who starts a reparations thread is going on the ignore list

That seems to be a recurring issue, if it doesn't totally fix racism why even do anything? Black people know more than anyone that it is a game of inches.

One of the most interesting aspects of reparations is that people don't get that it's meant to give black people a piece of what they helped build. Don't get mad that we contributed so much to the country and would like our fair share. These same people forget how recently we received our voting rights. Hell, in many ways, we aren't even considered citizens until we've made millions in sports or done something amazing. The most accepted blacks are always described as people whose color don't matter. Why is that? It's like blackness and all it entails has to be kept below and beneath. Lifting it for even a second would distort the views of generations and ruin everything they've built in their hearts and minds about us

This comes from the basic truth that for the majority race (white) pride has only ever been really associated with domination over others. People like the color blind ideology because they don't get that pride for people who've consistently been underfoot, denied and used is a brave and necessary act and can only think of pride and loving race as an act done by people who want exert control over others.

Hmm one of the Lets players I follow on YouTube came out with his first game. Makes me want to finally fiddle with Game Maker since I bought it a while ago but the relevance to BCT is the dude is one of the whitest people on YouTube but he made the game's star dark skinned. Just goes to show that diversity doesn't have to be a damn fight all the time. All it takes is someone to consider doing something different. Makes me happy dudes like him exist.
