Besides the amount of regular lurkers we have in this thread, GAF, in general, is hot as there are a couple of "spin off" forums filled with deplorables that do nothing but talk about how bad GAF has gotten and like to spend their lives doing "I don't have a life outside of GAF" shit like collecting photos of other GAFers that have been posted in the OT for "I don't have nothing better to do with my life" art projects. And since these deplorables are often banned in non-white male news/discussion threads, they keep a close eye on us for their twitter finger vengeance. Where it becomes a problem is when active GAFers/deplorables with throw away accounts, use these "never leaving my momma's basement" sandboxes as snitch information hotlines.
TLDR; Don't post anything in here because you think it's "safe" here vs the rest of the OT.
Which is why most folks in here don't participate in any of that "Show us your face!" shit

Shit, I probably ain't start posting in here till September or October, because even after lurking I was legit unsure if there were any black people on Gaf, you know when you see nothing but white people and you start looking around for the other one black person to at least feel a little bit comfortable, like that. But, I recall reading something on the coli talking about some folks in the black culture threads and the owner of Gaf.

But around July I will add some selfies of me and my 2017 summer bod to make lurkers salty.
I was the same way. Just started posting near the end of the election when it became very clear that only people of color were posting in this thread.
Though I use to post a lot on the Destiny gaming community thread and most of the people I met there are Hispanic or Brown (added each other on PSN and play together every now and then).

I'd be interested but I suck at math. I picked up Exchange pretty fast and have experience with powershell and figured Server admin/cloud would be a safe bet. I do hear alot of love for security though.

I'm engaging in an ongoing battle with Russian spammers. Apparently my EA account was a weak link, and some russian guy attempted to steal it,but I got an email a few seconds later that the account info had been changed. Thankfully I had no card info, but a few days later, I got a wave of spam emails and subscription services sent to my email all set up by Russian bots. There relatively easy to deal with,just really annoying.

The Arcadium is nothing but console war fuckery, but there is one dude who actually puts in work and promotes games by black developers and has them sign up for the site to tell us about their games. Plus there's a few guys there that volunteer to help build PCs or diagnose problems with them.
The Film Room is pretty decent but I hardly watch enough movies and TV to post there often.
The Root tries to have positive discussions about race outside of the usual TLR faux miltancy, but their mods can only do but so much

Does, anyone here know of any games, non-video. That can be played with both adults and children ages 5+. I'm finding it very difficult to find games outside of the typical, Monopoly/sorry/life things that's going to keep grown folk and children a like interested. Like I was willing to do cards against humanity but that's not child appropriate, though it'd keep the older people entertained. If I don't find nothing it'll be my last resort.

I was going to suggest Ghost Blitz but I think the recommended ages is 8 and up (requires a certain level of perception and quick thinking). It's a hell of a lot of fun though, and the physical aspect of it makes it fast and exciting.
