They kill the tyrant king and heals the young girl the king was set on killing.

Those are the traditional actions of a hero.

About as heroic as a pig farmer who raises them for slaughter having a favorite pig. Dude was mad about the wasted blood. Her dying from plague would fall under "wasted blood". If you can get the "pigs" to love and worship you then they will police themselves. The vampire is old and smart.

If they pull off the nonlinear emergent narrative it could really be something special + short with tons of replay value. Love how you can slaughter your companions if you don't keep your blood hunger in check

-Music is great. Very Witcher 3.
-Insightful look at devs mentality on what they want to create.
-Huge lore dump on the world building and the setting and how it works.
-Male protagonist in Coen as a Human turned Dhampir/Dawnwalker.
-New intriguing way of turning people into Vampires via an impaled Vampire Fang through the heart.
-2.5 seconds of gameplay shows a definite Dark Fantasy vibe with great monster design and seems on par with Witcher 3 art direction.
-Game takes place 2 years after the intro and is across 30 days and 30 nights.
-completing Quests or big actions moves time forward, lesser activities do not.
-Blood hunger can cause you to kill any NPC and drastically change your playthrough potentially breaking or ending some quests prematurely.
-Vampire politics centered around isolating a large valley, taking care of a subset of humans to ripen then up and then be offered as blood sacrifices to their Vampire Lords. Twisted Vampiric rule. I like.

I was hoping for more gameplay but I like the lore dump and what they have shown so far looks promising. If I had to guess a release date it's probably 2027 or 2028. Best case scenario 2026.

More hyped for this then Witcher 4 in comparison. Interesting times ahead. Eager to learn more this Summer(probably early Fall).

Finally another Vampire game at long last.

The music is fantastic. Witcher 3 DNA is obvious. The gameplay snippet looks good (obviously need to see a lot more) and the setting feels unique. Hyped!
On a live stream before gameplay teaser there was a track by Piotr Musiał.

The same guy is on board that did this osts:

Love it. Still making my way through Witcher 3. Given the pace at which I'm going, I'd probably finish Blood and Wine in time for Dawn Walker in 2027. Lol

Honestly, Blood and Wine topped Wild Hunt for me.

It was much more focused. On a smaller map.

30h tops wild ride.

Similarly to what Rebel Wolves are aiming with The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Makes sense, more quality stuff less bloat and also smaller budget and whatnot.

I've been wanting a good vampire game for what feels like forever. They are always AA at best janky games.

This? This looks like everything firing on all cylinders. Shot right up to my most wanted new IP by a long mile.
