The British Pound is now trading at its third lowest value to USD since 1791

It's around 4:30AM over at New York, so there's still a few hours of a reprieve before Wall Street rears its ugly head.

Yeah, I've been thinking of staying up all night just to see how the NYSE reacts. I'm actually kinda worried if how the Asian and European markets reacted is a precedent.

Should have woken up earlier as I would have made even more of a killing, but I made a profit trading some USD before the vote to hedge my bets. Going to treat myself to either a Vive or G-SYNC monitor (depending on measurements), but I can't exactly smile about the whole situation still.

The mad scramble that's going to happen after the opening bell is going to be fucking fascinating to watch in the morning.

Anyone who voted for Britain to exit the EU can now see the consequence of their uninformed actions.

I hope it won't have too much of a drastic impact on the UK, and things will get back to where they were just yesterday soon.

Damn.

Hmm I seriously should consider buying some stuff from amazon.co.uk (I live in Germany).

Been checking my Amazon wishlist too, lol. Doubting to pay in Pounds or go for the Euro. Don't think the Pound will drop any further though, so might be a good thing to just go for the Euro-price they offer at check out.

Hopefully our markets being trashed will show Brexiters that what the experts were saying wasn't fear-mongering: they were telling the truth about what would happen when you vote to leave a major economic bloc.

It will be down significantly at the beginning, but I wouldn't be shocked if it bounces back a bit later in the day. Although it may drop for several days in a correction. The markets were up a fair amount yesterday because it seemed the Leave vote had little chance of winning. So obviously it came as a surprise.

Going to Orlando in a few months.

I'm fucked, aren't I?

If you know you're going on a trip, it's sometimes a good idea to keep your vacation fund in an American cash account. The pound may also bounce back a decent amount by that time, you never know.

But yeah, you're probably fucked. Enjoy your £25 Mickey Mouse ice cream bar.
