It's amazing and silly that they made a cartoon. The trailer and behind the scenes video make it look very promising. I'm definitely looking forward to watching it tonight. Hoping to see/hear music taking a prominent role in the series.

If you like old fashioned cartoons (which never had substance) but are designed purely to work on a visceral level then it's great. The animation is better than 99% of things out there.

This is dumb and pointless, why make a cartoon that is inspired by old cartoons but with "modern" "humor"?

Old cartoons were great for all audiences, and didn't had forced humor.
There's a reason they hold up pretty well, and will still do for decades to come.

I'd say purely because this sort of quality of animation doesn't really exist anymore. That's reason enough. I've watched the first episode most of the humour is mainly old fashioned knock about stuff.

The review is completely wrong about the modern timing and humour part. They clearly haven't watched old cartoons.
