Anne has a meh body and a butterface. And she just looks like she'll be really awkward in the movie, I don't know why but she just kind of screams awkward to me. Like some female Cera. This is probably because I saw that princess movie with her in it once.
AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA Have you seen Love And Other Drugs, or better yet, that scantily-clad picture of her a few posts up? You're proving my point.

for some reason i confused bane with lobo and i let out a confused "WTF"

regardless, i like anne and tom hardy, this will be a good movie

This deserves a tag of some sort.

Or you get your jollies from anime.

The best part is, it's irrefutable that these are "internet standards" that he doesn't apply to real life. Otherwise he'd die a virgin.

After the film comes out and he's made to look like the fool he is, there should be a phoenix dark-esque avatar made for him.

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman?

Yeah..I could see it.

And it seems to me like the only people who think Bane is a terrible villain have never seen him outside of B&R or the animated series. He's much more than just hired muscle. It doesn't make sense to assume Nolan and his team have no idea what they're doing considering the track record.[/QUOTE]
Jesus god fuck why doesn't she look like this all the time

Also, Bronson as Bane is great news.

Oh man... The neckbeard just proved his point... he's right... Everyone go home and hug your fleshlight. :-(

Well if it's anything, nobody including myself saw those characters coming for this movie.

I agree though, without wanting to sound mean, but I've never liked his choice for leading ladies, none of them are the look I'd imagine would be with Bruce Wayne.

Man, if I could only hop into a time machine to go back to the time of these days, sigh.

In my perfect world, Nolan would have held off the Two-Face transformation until the end of TDK, and Batman 3 would be Two-Face and Talia Al Ghul to close the circle.

He also doesn't understand the meaning of "butterface", since he said she apparently has a "meh body", lol

I don't think that's a determination that could be made. We don't really know what Catwoman's character is going to be like in this movie, nor how Hathaway will approach it.

Heath Ledger wasn't the best first choice for Joker with what we knew beforehand, but we had to see what Nolan did with Joker (and what Ledger himself did with the character) to find out we were wrong.

True, now that you mention it, I'm trusting Nolan's overall directorial sense more than anything in coaxing defining performances out of his actors like he did with Ledger.

I'd love to see it too. I think you could make an interesting story about how Batman is too blinded by his own childhood to realize how fucked up it is to take in a child and train them to go up against complete psychopaths and mobsters. I think people always assume that portraying Robin on film would make Batman seem less dark, but I don't think it has to be that way.

My gripe isn't that it would make this Batman less dark. Why would this Bruce allow such a thing to happen. From BB to the TDK he has every intention to keep others out of harms way, why would he bring a young boy/girl into the mix when his whole purpose is to protect the people of Gotham?

I blame the treatment both characters have gotten in the past.

Catwoman in Batman Returns: maybe magic cat lady who hates men and has a raggedy costume. As Selina, just some weird lady.
The more I think about it the more I like Hathaway being CatWoman.
Batman Returns Catwoman scared the fuck out of me as a child and that costume was part of it.

Having someone I would like to get behind play the role is all ready a huge step in the right direction for me.

Hathaway is a fine actress, but it's a shame that Catwoman has to be in the film. Batman didn't need the hyper-sex, and most female super-heroes just wind up just being Vagina-Girl.

Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly but are you saying you would not like to get behind Michelle Pfeiffer? Especially 90s Pfeiffer?......................

Hathaway needs to hit the gym for the Catwoman. Otherwise she ends up like Scarlett Johanson in Iron Man 2 -> totally unbelievable for the role since there's like zero muscle in her body. Fight scenes looked awkward in IM2 if I remember correctly.

They're both very pretty but just... too soft for action roles.

I think Hathaway will do a great job here. The fact that she's hot is just a bonus.

She has an alright body as in breasts and ass and waist, however, her face is not hot at all. God damn the hathaway-gaf should calm the fuck down.

Butterface: everything is hot but her face. Admit you were wrong and proceed.

I'm sure shes going to be the morally ambigious middleground between Batman and Bane. And the Scarecrow, because we all know he'll cameo in this.

Difference between the two?

Catwoman is supposed to be feminine in her style of combat. Catwoman isn't super strong or great at fighting. She's a thief, and that's where a lean, acrobatic feminine body comes at an advantage.

Yeah maybe. I just don't think she looks that agile. I can't describe the vibe I get from her. She just looks so soft!

But maybe it is not an action-heavy role knowing Nolan.

Health Ledger as the Joker was ok but not memorable. If he were alive today, no one would care strongly about his performance...

Untrue. Whether he's dead or alive doesn't have anything to do with the fact, that it was one of the best villain performances in the movie history. He perfectly nailed the essence of the more modern and darker Joker.

Just like Mark Hamill said in an interview:
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/109/1092968p2.html
Still, having finished with The Joker in 2004, coming back to the role after Heath Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight was no small order, particularly given the work he'd have to do on the videogame script. "I was flattered they came back to me, especially after being blown away by Heath Ledger's incredible and novel take," he says. "He was the most joyless Joker. Not a hint of theatricality; he was almost like a heroin addict. It never would have occurred to me, and that's why it was so delightful and surprising. I was glad I got on and got off before that happened."

Anyways, I'm a bit disappointed when it comes to the news. I was hoping for Croc or Clayface instead of Bane. But perhaps it's for the best, as both of them probably would have needed a lot of CGI tricks.

I'm not particularly thrilled about Catwoman's inclusion, especially as I'm having problems with thinking about Hathaway in the role after her many shallow romantic roles, but I take any Catwoman instead of Robin.

And this my friends, is how cults are born.

Edit: I'm a proud member of The Cult of Nolan, btw.

I don't really trust Nolan at THAT level - I think he's great but makes mistakes like everybody else. I thought Inception was a pretty big let down, for example.

I'm trying to keep my confidence up because the first two Batman movies were damn good, but Bane is just...well, I just hope they strip every last thing related to the "comic" Bane and just make him some roided up bit of muscle or some shit. I mean, I literally cannot come up with a better idea for the character because he's so lame in everything (inb4 "omg but you haven't read mediocre comic X featuring Bane!" trust me, I have, it sucked).

Alright, I used the word butterface in a wrong way because I thought it meant something slightly different. I still don't think she has a hot body or a hot anything. She's 'ok' and that's it. If I was given the chance, I'd fuck her but if I could have my pick then she wouldn't come anywhere near the top 500 women.

IDK who the fuck played Catwoman back then but I know they scared the shit out of my child self.

Every time I think about Non-Berry movie Catwoman I see the same damn scenes that made me want to run and hide as a child. Sooooo damn creepy ... ;(

But hey, maybe she was a hot dish and not scary at all and I would like to get behind her if I saw the movie today!

Nobody wants that but I'd kill 100 ostriches to see a fourth film in Burton's really stylized look. But then modern Burton is really annoying so maybe not.

Bruce hallucinates and pictures Anne Hathaway as the cheshire cat.

That works too!

Also, I hope Nolan chooses a movie he can do better justice to as his inspiration this time. Heat presented shoes he could never come close to filling in TDK. And I still don't see the supposed Blade Runner influence of BB anywhere. Which is fine, because I love BB and the last thing I'd want to think while watching it was that it was a low rent Blade Runner homage.

Thank you. I have no idea why people like Bane so much. Knightfall wasn't even that good. "Oh! Azrael is awesome! He's like Batman, but he's tougher and he kills people." Please.
