Managed to get tickets for me and my wife a couple of hours ago (Just getting up for work), to get decent seats (Row K on the side of the middle section) i had to get tickets for the Sunday 10:05 show after the release. Gonna be a late finish so im probably gonna book the day after off from work. Cant wait though 
I really cant stand how cinema's charge you for ordering online, it should be cheaper since you dont have to deal with any staff. I did hear the UK government was meant to be clamping down on it at some pojnt but im sure they will just add that the the ticket price once they do.

BFI IMAX site is still fucked up. And it looks like its shitty side seats or middle front for the best screenings. I.e neck and leg cramp seats.
It took me two hours but I'm glad I waited to get my seats. I've seen every Nolan batman movie at the IMAX no way I was going to miss the last one.

I've heard it's fine, but the BFI IMAX was the screen to see this on and they'll be putting in a new screen just before they show TDKR.
It's a damm shame so many people will miss out due to the ticket fiasco.
In other news I hear it's pretty wild down at the IMAX as people are queuing up to grab some tickets.

Yeah, the BFI IMAX was my first choice but it was impossible to get through (as others have mentioned), so I settled for second choice instead.
Shit ton of seats available for the screening I got tickets for, though any after work hours are rammed. Luckily I have the day off work so it all planned out well eventually.
Yep. I've gone for a lunchtime showing on the Friday, purely for that reason.

Different place (UK), but I booked my IMAX tickets online and got to choose exactly where I wanted to sit. No price difference.
Same for my local cinema. I always book online, just for this reason.

Cineplex IMAX screens here in Canada recently switched to reserved seating, as well. There's actually something legitimately dangerous in having 100 or more some odd people all rushing into the theater at once.

I went to see TDK in an imax theater and it was basically first come first serve. However there was no saving seats. When you go in you move all the way down till you're next to someone.

I don't mind paying a buck or two extra for reserved seating as well. I like showing up to theater five minutes before the film starts and knowing exactly where I'm going to sit. It's brilliant.
couldn't this have been done without the cut right before you see him doing the pushup? i mean, if he's actually doing all that in one motion, why not just show it in one take?
I've never been to a cinema with reserved seatings so I'm excited to see TDKR in this manner. Do you just walk in and people are sat where they should be? No issues regarding seats and people being dicks and sitting where they want?
