awesome awesome movie...
the joker was a fantastic antagonist.
Roughly 1000X better than Batman Begins.

Was there an explanation of why Dent's order of life/death was Batman, Dent, then Gordon? What would've happened if Dent was supposed to kill himself? He would've never gotten a chance at Gordon.
Scullibundo said:He wasn't going to punish himself then - he was going to punish Gordon. He was flipping to see if he was going to kill Gordon's boy when Batman stopped him.
Blader5489 said:This is probably a dumb question, but as someone who has a blu-ray player (PS3) and but no HDTV, would the Blu-ray version look distorted at all on my SD set? Or should I just stick with the regular DVD?
Solo said:No, he flipped for himself first before flipping for Gordon's kid. One of the few WTF moments of the movie. "IM GONNA GIT MA REVENGE ON YOU! UNLESS I HAVE TO KILL MYSELF FIRST, LOLZ"
dankir said:Awesome that it has Dolby TRUEHD audio, is it 5.1 or 7.1?

Exactly the same here.Mr. Sam said:IMAX is best for sound more than anything else. When I went to see it at the London IMAX, everything had such a punch to it, it was genuinely exhilarating. When I next saw it in a regular cinema, the reduced picture quality didn't bother me - was the sounds that felt underwhelming.

6:00 AM TEXAS TIME: The Prepping for BATMAN 3 scuttlebutt continues.
I was told by someone who is, well, in the know that there just might be something to all these rumors. According to him, theres been mention of something going down around February of 2009 in Chicago. He chalks it up as rumor, but noted that the similarity to yesterdays report on BOF was interesting. And just like that previous report, this buzz is coming from various folks who had worked on BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT, or both.
Something that made me raise an eyebrow was that one of the sources who contributed to yesterdays news told BOF, [What Im hearing from crew members out of Chicago] is that BATMAN 3 goes into pre-production in February to shoot next summer. I didnt include the February 2009 bit previously, but with two totally unrelated and trustworthy individuals making specific mention of that date, I thought it was worth passing it on to you all.
Now, I do not think that a third BATMAN will actually begin filming next February, but I do think that if all this is indeed true (and I have no reason not to believe it based on whom it is coming from), pre-production in some capacity just might be commencing early next year.
Oh yeah, it surely doesnt hurt that the state of Illinois is hoping to make it financially easier for Hollywood to film in Chicago.

Batman 3 starting pre-production in 2009?!

Isn't a Blu-ray over 20 times bigger than DVD, HD content is 4 time more space intensive.OokieSpookie said:Yes?

Why cant they put all the content on one Blu-ray or is there more content.
Lakitu said:Didn't they complete The Dark Knight in two years?
I mean Nolan was doing Prestige in 2006 no?
jett said:a double-layer blu-ray is only about 5 times larger than a double-layer DVD.
That's the kind of move that would win the campaign.Ninja Scooter said:Obama is going to suspend his campaign and fly back to Chicago to meet with Nolan until this is all sorted out.
.effzee said:yeah. i believe pre production on the dark knight began around fall 06 after the Prestige was released.
this news would depend on Nolan coming back, having a script, and Nolan not wanting to take a break and make something else.
i just dont see it. i think nolan will be back but after he does another project.
Ninja Scooter said:Obama is going to suspend his campaign and fly back to Chicago to meet with Nolan until this is all sorted out.
Obama traveled with his wife, Michelle, to Honolulu to spend more time with his grandmother, watch the film "The Dark Knight" at Ward 16 Theatres and have dinner.
