I really can't wait to watch a Rifftrax for Dark Knight.

Why do I have a feeling that after one of Joker's henchmen dies/screws up they're going to have something like:

Kevin: Man, it's impossible to find reliable help nowadays...
Mike: Yeah the Joker's employees are about as reliable as Heath Ledger's Pharmacist....

Those guys aren't the classiest out there..a dead HL joke is not beyond them...

I like it.

"... and that's the point."

Another one to add to my "must buy list" I wish they weren't so friggin expensive though. I'm going to get the Iron Man Hot Toys first, the entire Batman set is at least 2 Gs :(

Incredible detail, don't you agree Buckethead?

Y SO JACKASS?

I asked nicely... guess you want to feel special today. But it's okay, I feel the same way when Mama Chicken doesn't let me sleep under her wing. The detail is super guud.

NOLAN HAS NEW WARDROBE OMFG

I bet that suit is made out of finely crushed dolla bilz.
I can't wait for his appearance at the Oscars when he's wearing a suit made out of diamonds.

It's really hard for me to pick one best line. The whole script was goddamn amazing. Much respect to the writers.
A lot of people seem to come away pretty rattled by the "This is what happens when an immovable object meets and unstoppable force." line .

Oh shit. That Two Face looks even better than I thought it would. I ordered the Bank robber Joker and now with Two Face soon coming to the collection I will have to add Batman too.

Some people from SuperHeroHype met with with a couple of people that worked on the TDK viral campaign. Pretty cool stuff

Changes and stuff

* They didn't have to scrap a lot when Heath died in January. As I suspected, they only plan about a week or two ahead of actual play anyway. The biggest change came from increased scrutiny from WB since TDK became SUCH a huge deal after Heath died. Which leads me to...
* They had to scrap some things because it didn't fly too well with WB's marketing dept. The biggest loss was the video that came with the audio on the April 24 update to IBIHD. I'm not sure how much I can divulge really, but let's just say we would have found out exactly what happened to the missing Dent campaigner, Elliot Bryan Perersbrook, a la Brian Douglass.
* They also had to take down the Two-Face teaser on Whysoserious.com/Myhero because Wuertz says "Jesus!" in it.
* The Domino's TV spot was supposed to contain a lot of clues, but Domino's never released it as wide as they promised, nor was it ever online in HD, so they had to repackage these clues into a new text message.

Other interesting background stuff

* 42E met closely with Jonah Nolan (aha! Just as I suspected!) and Jordan Goldberg, Chris Nolan's associate producer, throughout the development of the storyline, so that's why the ARG and the film's story coincide as closely as they do.
* All of the Joker cards they handed out to participants were used the shooting of the film. We have TDK movie memorabilia, guys!

Hilarious randomness

* We totally broke their servers on multiple occasions. During Operation Slipknot, the phone server that adeptly handled the load on the NIN ARG completely fizzled, and they decided to divert the calls to Twitchy's personal phone while they tried to fix it. His voicemail immediately filled up and players started getting his phone number on his voicemail message, and apparently it was posted here. Twitchy still gets spam calls to this day.
* Poor Twitchy, as I've mentioned before, was in charge of handing over the Paris bowling ball, since the alley they assigned didn't have lockers. He waited for over 4 hours, and by the time he got back to his hotel room, everything was closed so all he had to eat was yogurt and some Pringles, and he didn't even have a spoon for the yogurt.
* 42E is rather indignant that you guys thought they used a green screen for Rachel's press conference (it was a set) and that Gary Oldman wasn't Gary Oldman.

That wasn't a green screen?! Yikes.

That's cool that those joker cards were props from the movie. Wish I had gotten one of those packages.

I knew the Joker card was a prop after I saw the Tuesday WSS screening at IMAX. My card is among the others used when the Judge's car is blown to bits.

EDIT: It's too bad Heath was a perfect person, lets not look at his flaws because he is a celebrity. :D

Sorry to disturb you delicate fucking sensibility.

It's too bad Heath had to be a junkie, I'd love to see more of his Joker in the franchise.

Not that I'm diminishing him as a person, actor, father, etc., but facts are facts. He's either a junkie or an idiot. It's a tragedy, but that doesn't mean it's not entirely his fault.

Now his daughter will grow up without her dad and that's messed up.

Oh come on! Are people are still on this Heath Ledger was junkie bullshit? He took more sleeping pills than he really should have. Thats the only reason why he isn't here anymore.

He had extreme cases of insomnia. He found that his prescriptions weren't working like they should so he began taking more and mixing in a desperate attempt to sleep. Reports are that his doctor didn't exactly advise him against this. Extremely stupid and irresponsible yes, but saying he's a junkie? Not true or fair.

Yea, you had no idea this would happen.

Hence me editing the post. I realized it was a little rash. Feel free to delete your posts and then we can move on.

I wasn't trying to start a big fuss. It's unfortunate what happened and I retract my initial comment.

That being said, I think some of you are being a little oversensitive.

How so? no one besides Spinnington got offended or upset. We were just replying to your comment.

True. You were right on on your explanation anyway.
Guess I'm paranoid because I'm still a lowly Junior.

Off-Topic: Who's in your Avatar?
On-Topic: The TDK Blu-Ray will be awesome. So pumped.
