I wanna know the 3 criterion necessary for a scene to make it into the film.
Penguin said:Oh there has to be a third story to tell.
We have to know what happens to Gotham now that they believe Batman is a villain.
Ken Masters said:new bad guy comes to town, batman becomes missed and the people are sorry for mistreating him because they need his help, Batman saves the day again
that part is obvious, I'm just cruious about what villain they would use
DMczaf said:I'd like to see Two Face starting the movie robbing a bank, with Batman saving the day. Later on, Bruce Wayne meets a strange employee with a crazy invention, who later goes crazy and becomes obsessed with riddles because Bruce Wayne thinks his invention is ethically wrong.
He then meets up with Two Face in his lair where they decide to team up to rid Gotham of Batman and all that good stuff.
Penguin said:That... has potential...
I would also throw in a love interest who has a thing for men with scarred psyches.
Maybe give him some corny name so you can play on words like a Bond girl.

No doubt, two dozen guys will be transcribing the thing. We will definitely get to hear Nolan answer 100,000 questions.jett said:Dude! I hope someone's able to record that somehow...I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the TDK BD by then...

Definitely calling out of work that night!DMczaf said:That's been known for a while, although the exact date for the event is new. Dec 18th!
Scullibundo said:The Riddler is not Ben Linus. Nolan is smarter than to say 'Hey that lets cast that guy because a character he plays in that show is similar to a character in my movie! Wouldn't want to cast actors who have to make a transition!'
Buckethead said:For the third flick I'd like either of the two ideas to happen:
The Riddler played by Michael Emerson. Paint the Riddler to somewhat of a hero "shining light" on social injustices, but Bruce sees through his bull. The Riddler constantly puts out riddles to the public, ones that he always finds out. Basically think of him as a news-paper insider giving out tips. However the Riddler has a dark side and "shines that light" on people so brightly that the guilt drives them to suicide, etc. Once he sees Batman is back and out to get him he dolls out a riddle that asks 'who is the Batman'. I think Emerson's stoic and very wicked spin would contrast Ledger's anarchist Joker very well. LOST fans know what I'm talkin' about.
The Phantasm (if you are unfamiliar with the character don't highlight) played bysome good actress with big tits. Maybe Kate Winslet? Someone who looks nice but still can nail the visceral/crying/etc. stuff. It'd be a great match to Nolan's gritty, realistic world I think. Basically paint Bruce as still vulnerable after Rachel's death and looking for love and blam Andrea happens. He falls in love with her, probably a little too readily, and this makes his Bat-sleuthing a little sloppy. Also fits in with the ending to The Dark Knight where people are going to be hunting Batman.
Buckethead said:True, but it's certainly more original than the Johnny Depp as Riddler, Angelina Jolie as Catwoman rumor and fanboyish gushings.

master15 said:As much as I love Dark Knight I really hope Nolan can get one or possibly two more films out before he embarks on a 3rd Batman film (I think his involvement will be guranteed).

I really wish English BD's and DVD's would have more language available than just the standard (english, spanish, french).

What if they fired Nolan and Eckhart and replaced them with Schumacker and Tommy Lee Jones?Ken Masters said:Two Face is dead, Nolan and Eckhart both confirmed the character will STAY dead never return

"The Dark Knight" The best of all the Batmans, Christopher Nolan's haunted film leaps beyond its origins and becomes an engrossing tragedy. The "comic book movie" has at last reclaimed its deep archetypal currents. With a performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker that will surely win an Oscar, a Batman (Christian Bale) who is tortured by moral puzzles and a district attorney (Aaron Eckhart) forced to make impossible choices.
WHAT IF Nolan goes back in time to the 30's and brings his modern equipment to actually BECOME the Batman and record it cheaply and then he comes back and makes documentarys about Batman?SpeedingUptoStop said:What if they fired Nolan and Eckhart and replaced them with Schumacker and Tommy Lee Jones?
That's because 2008 sucked!!!!!Sapiens said:

In these hard times, you deserve two "best films" lists for the price of one. It is therefore with joy that I list the 20 best films of 2008, in alphabetical order. I am violating the age-old custom that film critics announce the year's 10 best films, but after years of such lists, I've had it. A best films list should be a celebration of wonderful films, not a chopping process. And 2008 was a great year for movies, even if many of them didn't receive wide distribution.
WHAT IF that's what already happened?Chinner said:WHAT IF Nolan goes back in time to the 30's and brings his modern equipment to actually BECOME the Batman and record it cheaply and then he comes back and makes documentarys about Batman?
