The Division - 15 minutes of new gameplay

Okay, I gain nothing if you believe me or not. People in denial are funny.
You haven't given any reason whatsoever for people to believe you. Nobody with half a mind blindly accepts something at face value "just because."

The "downgrade" BS in general needs to be shelved until the game is actually in the hands of PC consumers.

I wish there was an option in the game to downgrade higher level crafting items into lower level ones and on the screen it says "Press X to downgrade".

People would laugh forever.

Denial because we don't believe you at face value with no facts to support the statement at this time?

Yeah it's no surprise I'm hyped for the game and want it to be good, but until we got the finished product it means jack shit.

Once it's released we can compare and we'll have the facts

Should be a downgrade slider or on/off I n the options menu in which it just turns it into a 16bit game

You dont have to do anything if you pre-order on PSN/Xbox Live

Justh have your Uplay account connected to PSN

Oh, does that mean that the beta is PC only? Not sure if mine can handle it...

True. Also people need to understand the difference between a game looking good, and a game being downgraded. I never said the game isn't visually impressive, just that it doesn't represent the visual quality of 2013/2014, that's all.

My point still stands as its not yet released.
We have no idea what the RC build looks like.
Is the beta RC?

Who gives a fuck? This shit is so played out already.

The NDA lifts today.

I take it you will have some material to share with us later?

He said it's visually impressive but doesn't live up to what they showed years ago. We've all heard this every fucking day since this thread fucking started. It's nothing new, yet it's regurgitated every few hours and it's beyond stupid at this point. We get it, it's nothing like the 2013 reveal. Let's fucking move on.

This is eerily similar to just before Watch_dogs was releases. Why would they remove graphical features like GI, just to add them back in a month before release?

Something to do with false advertising.
WD on PC with editing the game files look pretty damn good. You can make it look close to the bullshots they posted.

WD is not Division tho. It's not the same devs.

And as I said, we don't know how the release looks. For all we know this is a older more limited build of the game.

It's a stupid thing to go all crazy about until it's released.
It's not false advertisement as its not yet out.
All your complaints should be aimed at something that's been Released and not something still a month away in a "testing" phase.

4K beta build vs E3whatever got no case until we have the final product.

Let's not devolve this thread into a preemptive downgradathon debate guys, come on.

If the game is downgraded, and it could very well be, we'll find out soon enough.

I agree, but the fact that people use test builds to drive their downgrade agenda is stupid.

Once it's released we will be able to have a real debate and a comparison. I welcome the debate at that point. At that point it could become false advertisement.

If you want to disscus a potential downgrade why not go make a thread specifically to discusses that and save the rest of us the tedium of listening to the same old shit argued for the hundredth time.

I honestly don't know what a downgrade or non-downgrade even matters.

They showed us a video in 2013. They said "this is the game we are making."
We had no way to verify this but we also had no way to actually buy the game. A pre-order doesn't count cause you are still not getting a product.

Now it's 2016. We'll be able to se EXACTLY what the product looks like, plays like, etc...
And THEN we decide "Is this something I want to buy?". In that moment it is totally irrevelant what they said the product was/would be in 2013. The only thing that matters is the actual product in front of you being released and whether you want to buy it or not.

Dont think we gonna see PS4 footage today. Only the PC was there at the event next to Xbox. And some say the embargo ends for that today. I keep a look out for a Jackfrags vid haha.

Let's be honest though, are we really expecting the PS4 version to look much different than the Xbox? The only thing I could actually see if anything would be if the Xbox is running 900P then the PS4 could maybe be 1080P. I'm just throwing them numbers out there, I have no idea of the final resolution. I think that would be the extent of it. In all honest I wouldn't expect anything else really This coming from a majority PS4 player.
