Call me dumb but I cant figure out 2 things now...is there a way to use your regular small pistol without going in the inventory...? Y,on the X1,switches between the 2 secondary weapons only...also how do I use the regular grenades...I know how to choose them with D-Pad left,hold and choose with R but how do I throw them...?

Yeah,its not has 3d/hologram as before,still well done but not as flashy.

The game is a mixed bag so far I've done the side missions and the story mission but I feel like this game is just dumb fun and isn't deep at all just like destiny. I like it but from the beta I'm not 100% sold

I have a feeling the PC version won't have a lot of players in the long run. I have to see if I can try the PS4 beta and see how it looks/controls. Even though the PC version will have the smallest community I don't think I can give up them graphics and m+kb.

Double tap the Y button to switch the pistol

Man, didn't think I'd enjoy the game a lot but I really am, really looking forward to the full game now.

Playing through the beta and going out exploring as night fell and then getting into literally almost "Whiteout" conditions with the snow falling and hardly being able to see was great, and then how amazing it looked when dawn started.

I finally made it to the Dark Zone but I am confused, where is everything? Is there no quest in it? Where the heck do you get loot? I found a chest but it needed a dark zone key to open, where do you get those? I walked around for about 25 minutes and never found any loot or quest or anything to do there.

I went to the extraction zone once and saw other players dropping off loot, but where did they get it all?

I really really hope this isn't another Destiny though in the sense of playing the beta and enjoying it but expecting thei game to have a "loooooooot" more content (IE progression, loot variety, skills, quests, etc) and then getting the full game and realizing that nope, that's pretty much on par with the final game.

I don't think there's any missions there. You just shoot NPC's and other players to increase your rank and money which you spend at the DZ vendor. You also have to extract all your gear.

The loot drops off the NPCs in the DZ and is inside crates (which the dark zone keys open). These keys similarly are dropped from DZ NPCs

If you feel game, you can also go rogue and try to steal other people's loot

Went to dark zone at level 5. Stumbled upon a group of randoms that were rogue hunters.

Tagged along. Ended up with a cool ak and attached an acog.

Extractions are tense in a cool way. Ended up on a rooftop doing 3-4 extractions. I like being a rogue hunter.

I think this game will have legs and I rarely play MP/pvp games. Soured quickly on Destiny.

Will be purchasing.

Redeemed my code for PC. It says to wait for an email saying the beta is live. But I see that people are already playing the PC version? Nothing shows up in my UPlay library. Anyone else have this issue?

I like the game and the atmosphere is fantastic, love the city, the snow and Xmas theme but I am worried I will be overwhelmed with the full game. I never stick with open world games like grand theft auto and I am worried the same will happen. Maybe I need more time with the game but just kind of lost and with upgrading guns and mods and all that stuff, just hope it's not to much. Leaning towards buying it but will probably just get the standard edition for now

For me it's endless purely from a PvP perspective. But then again I also enjoy playing mobas where it's the same thing over and over, just different character scenarios.

Also I'm probably remembering this wrong but did the devs not mention something about raids or something? I remember unique scenarios/bosses being a thing.

played a bit of Dark Zone...not sure what I'm supposed to be doing except shooting at other players...game reminds me a bit (in a good way) of Watch Dogs...just when I think the game is underwhelming something happens to pull me back in...hard game to judge but I think I like it more then I don't like it...

My weapons switched once and never again, I could never ever fire my gun, but I could move around. Eventually that stopped working too...

Very strange. :/ Had to close the game.

Yup i just got totally mugged of 4 good loots after single handedly clearing out the sporting goods store of enemies including 2 stars and a named. 1 dude acted friendly and called in extraction then as soon as i start extracting his 2 friends roll in guns blazing.. Oh well lol back to sniping with my m44 carbine and 3359 damage headshots but not tonight I sick of getting mugged same as you by packs.

I've had an issue a couple of times where mouse clicks in the menus would not register. Only way to fix it was to restart the game.

You can just alt+tab to fix that. Happens to me and my friends too.

I thought there was an option to make larger text? I will double check, but I'm pretty sure I saw one on PC.

No option on PS4, pretty sure it was under UI or graphics on PC.

That's a bummer for people with smaller tvs or people who sit really far away.

My friend just signed up but it's not showing up on Uplay after signing.

Either wait til you return to the hub to sell them, or break them down in the Inventory menu for crafting materials. As for the Dark Zone, it *can* be played solo, but you will get rekt by squads.

I feel like so much tactical stuff is going to open up once we get the full trees, its pretty difficult to judge the depth of the game yet

Just the idea of drones and turrets have me really excited for March

I hadn't seen any of this game before playing the PS4 beta (got a code through nvidia promotion), and I've found it to be pretty fun so far. It will be even more fun with friends. It's gotta have a ton of missions or else people will move on quickly. In regard to the depth of the upgrade system on weapons and abilities, I don't see that being really deep. This is a game for the masses, so keeping it a little lighter will help with its accessibility to a wider audience.
