The Dustborn intro is laughably horrible.

Red Thread: "We have zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, and threats of any kind."

That statement just reads like one last throw of the dice. The game has been completely ignored so let's say we've been getting threatened and harassed and hope people will buy our game to show solidarity.

Absolutely pathetic.

This turd got way more money than just 150.000 dollars

There was a yt comment about this but i thought it was bullshit, but alas...

Most of the people playing seem to be streamers having a laugh.
I am starting to think this is a parody and the devs are deep on character, because they are just hitting all the notes.

Work at a cushy job making some propagandistic vanity project funded by other people's money, then cry and play the victim when people mock the game and refuse to buy it.

Fuck these people. The real victims are the taxpayers whose hard earned money was misspent on this turd.

I've never been so happy to see a game flop. I hope the name "Dustborn" has become so synonymous with failure that none of these people are accepted in the gaming industry ever again.

Here is the CEO of Dustborn playing the game by himself at Tokyo game show, wondering when the modern audience will show up

This is just getting pathetic now, just burn the booth down bro and go home:messenger_tears_of_joy:

Oh that's OK they can use the power of positive toxicity to fix that.

On another note, I had the displeasure of watching that twitter video in the OP and the lyrics to that song are super fucking weird "we're the new porn, our kind is newborn". I really hope that's just a weird coincidence because that's really fucking strange.

What pisses my off, is that booth was paid by european tax payers.
The EU really needs to stop wasting money, especially at a time of crisis and when Europe is lagging behind the rest of the developed world.

Ah yes - that's why I cancelled my subscription to PC Gamer a little while ago - written by fuckheads for fuckheads. They shat on Deliverance because there was no diversity in Medieval Czech Republic or some nonsense. I used to give it to my nephew to read after me, but then there was a preview which banged on about being gender-queer, whatever the fuck that is. Absolute dreck with no idea what your average PC gamer is like anymore.

PC Gamer - the only pronouns they need are 'was/were'.

The other dev or translator was pondering life.
"Hey boss, can we set up a booth at Tokyo Game Show? I've always wanted to go to Japan and I think this could really be a great way to spread our message."

"Well, considering we only sold 1000 copies and haven't even made enough revenue to cover 1 month of operational costs, I'm afraid we need to cut back on unnecessary expenditures…… HAHAHAHAHA just kidding, I already got the funding from the Ministry of Culture. Make sure you fly first class, it's not like we're the ones paying for it. Domo arigato, Norwegian taxpayers!!!"

While PC Gamer does publish lame/cringe/shitty/agenda-driven articles fairly regularly, you are wrong about KCD I think. Their review of it was actually one of the best, as far as western press is concerned, and when KCD launched, the PCG frontpage was basically one KCD article after another, and without agenda.

You might have mistook them for Eurogamer, because that review was one giant shitshow with flat out lies contained within.

It must be emotionally brutal when the writer and director of Dustborn, stands there all alone playing his failed game while the public continues to ignore it.

Fair dos - you might be right about that. There was one review that broke the camel's back along similar lines blathering on about crap other than the game, but I can't remember which one it was.

*ahh it was Hogwarts.
