Just a small update on how GAF’s GotY front runner is doing. Who among you is one of the five?
Someone on here is absolutely hate-streaming this and making up 20% of its playerbase.

Looks like employees in Oslo didnt even bother logging in (Friday morning there).
Bingo. My family in Italy and Croatia pay a lot of attention to American politics, as do many of their friends and acquaintances. America is so big and powerful that it's politics, economy, pop culture, and really everything affects the entire world. You could say the same about people being "angry every day" on gaming forums. It doesn't always work like that.
People have opinions, and many still have time left to live a relatively calm normal life.
And, it’s not exactly news that US politics have an impact on people's lives worldwide. Thus US politics is a common topic everywhere.
Just this week, Mario Draghi released a report on why the EU lacks innovation and it's GPD is stagnant for over a decade.
Well, of course the Eu economy is stagnant. Our leaders continue to waste money on useless projects.
This game is the perfect example of wasting tax payer money on useless projects.
It's quite literally the case of a whole economic bloc going woke and going broke.
Looks like employees in Oslo didnt even bother logging in (Friday morning there).
Don't worry, good projects by small studios get money too, Rockstar North claims multiple millions to help fund GTA for example! And they don't have to pay tax! It's not just the woke thing.
Remember Uwe Boll. He made shit movies for one or two decades.
And few of his movies made a profit. But because those movies were subsidized by the German government, he was able to keep financing them.
But in the end, the tax payer was just losing money. Germany didn't get a return on investment.
And neither did the EU or the Norwegian Tax payer, from Dustborn.
Mind you, in the billions of the EU budget, these projects are a drop in the ocean. But they are still a waste of money.
And they are the perfect example of how the Eu wastes money of useless projects that have no return for the EU economy.

You have to admit that without knowing it as a fact one would be tempted to think "This is too stupid to be real".I don't get why people are saying this info could be not real.
That was proved a time ago since the game got release this mechanics are real.

To be fair, I did have a find a full game video, and seek through it until I found the relevant segments. But people are getting lazy. They need to do their own research before making that claim.
Our hard right and hard left are complete fucking idiots and it’s hard to find well-centered people when it comes to politics because we treat everything as if it were a team. Then we end up justifying why that team is so great with topics that have been around for decades, such as borders, abortion, religion and we’ve succumbed to the point that even our presidential candidates just argue and lie right to peoples faces with obviously false statements and consider that “telling it how it is”. American politics are a charade. That doesn't really even make sense, because liberals are center-right in European politics. Only in America does "liberal" mean left.
Yes, Sweden and Norway are pretty liberal. But super leftist? I don't know about that, we (Sweden) currently have our most right-leaning government probably ever. Of course, that's still pretty left compared to the American hard right, that barely exists here. So in that sense I guess you're right.
Very true. Most are happy with the political game too it seems. Lots of ranting and raving but not actually changing anything. Our hard right and hard left are complete fucking idiots and it’s hard to find well-centered people when it comes to politics because we treat everything as if it were a team. I know we are getting a little too political for this forum. But you are correct. A lot of degenerate Americans love to argue and conflict will always get more attention than if politics were "boring" like they should be. The movie, Idiocracy, is a very accurate representation as to where we are heading. Even the massive Costco in the movie isn't that far off from the massive Amazon warehouses they are building. That's the last I'll comment on this for forum rule reasons.Very true. Most are happy with the political game too it seems. Lots of ranting and raving but not actually changing anything.
You know those dishwashing ads?
Dustborn is really stealing the show at TGS
Looks like the perfect place to eat your lunch and check your email. Nobody will bother you there. You know those dishwashing ads?
The one where someone pours one drop of it into a bowl of water and instantly everything zooms away to the outer edge of the bowl?
Thats Dustborn.
I lived in Japan for 3 years and there is no way that shit of a game will gain any sort of traction there. They have to be getting some kind of tax break to even market it there.

Laugh all you want. I bet they will easily double their concurrent player count after the TGS bump:I lived in Japan for 3 years and there is no way that shit of a game will gain any sort of traction there. They have to be getting some kind of tax break to even market it there.
Then again, that booth looks it was made from printed cardboard, so it likely was cheap af to put together.
I think it’s just those fake keyboards like they have at IKEA. Strictly ornamental. It's hard to see what's on the table, but can anyone even try a demo of it? I think those are two slim/flat keyboards? I dont see a mouse. So 3 people are suppose to sit on bar chairs and stare at the screen?
Strictly ornamental.
Probably the dude that set up the booth and is ready to pounce on anyone unfortunate enough to step on that carpet.I absolutely love how this is in Tokyo and the only person looking at this stand is a western guy.
One stool is aimed at the corner like a dunce being told by the teacher to go to the corner.I think it’s just those fake keyboards like they have at IKEA. Strictly ornamental.

They got over 1 million Euros through grants. Got to use up that money somehow!I'm actually surprised they had the courage to make a stand about their game. Do they think so high of themselves or something?
Moving from paid booth babes to paying for the the hippest kids to hang out at the booth and make it look popularI'm actually surprised they had the courage to make a stand about their game. Do they think so high of themselves or think they are at TGS level?
I’m sure they got the Norwegian Ministry of Culture to pay for it. Notice there are no attendees at the booth, the Red Thread employees are probably busy spending their per diem at some karaoke bar.I'm actually surprised they had the courage to make a stand about their game. Do they think so high of themselves or think they are at TGS level?

Isn't that one guy standing off to the left playing? Looks like he has a controller in hand. Probably a great area to get away from the crowds and have a quiet momentare we sure it's not just some kinda excuse to have a free trip to Japan? I don't see anyone manning the booth. maybe they just set it up and went to tour around Tokyo or something?
are we sure it's not just some kinda excuse to have a free trip to Japan?
He might be. But an odd way to play. The guy is almost 10 ft away from a small screen standing at a 45 degree angle.Isn't that one guy standing off to the left playing? Looks like he has a controller in hand. Probably a great area to get away from the crowds and have a quiet moment
Unless it was a stagged photo and they wanted to see the whole booth? He might be. But an odd way to play. The guy is almost 10 ft away from a small screen standing at a 45 degree angle.
