The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited - |OT| - Console edition

Just picked up the game for $20 on a Steam sale. So I guess there's not much of a PC community? That's too bad.

It originally launched on PC long before the console versions and it was in a very bad state. This resulted in bad word-of-mouth that has dogged the game ever since. They've fixed most of the issues but people just don't care. Either that or they've already played through the game and moved on. There's also a lot more competition in this space on PC.

[Dark Brotherhood] Just got the polimorph for killing all targets from the Litany of Blood book. It was quite fun to do although I cheated a bit by looking at the name of the targets on YouTube. It reminded me a lot of the Elusive Targets from Hitman where you have no idea where the targets are or how they look like. You must search them through the crowd by looking at their eyes. Really cool mechanic. Here is a picture:

A buddy and I are thinking of picking this up on ps4 and we are wondering what the endgame is like. Can 2 guys do a lot of it, and is there matchmaking? If we just have the base game, will the best gear/activities and stuff be locked behind the dlc once we get to endgame?

There is a LOT of stuff to do on endgame, most can be done solo. Dungeons have matchmaking and a Daily Reward for doing a random one. Trials are the only things I haven't played yet since we need 12 players to do it (and there is no matchmaking.... yet). 99% of the gear in the game are not locked behind DLC. Most DLC gear can be bought through the Guild stores for in-game Gold if you don't have access to the DLCs. The only thing you will miss are the storyline basically.

Fuck that lying ass punk. I still get angry when I see him post here on GAF.

Greatest part is when this particular poster tries to talk about anything political related in the OT...

You up and stole fake money from a videogame from your supposed guild members and now you want to talk about morals and ethics. You lost that argument the second you had no moral or ethical qualms about screwing over people you will never meet.

Speaking of GAF guild for PS4. I am back playing everyday and it would be cool to get a consensus of who is on and what people want to do. So message me via PS4 or pm me and we can get the ball rolling on GAF related hijinks.

Playing through all the quests just hit 17. It is amazing to see how active low level places are.
Yeah, there is a lot of people playing all the time. Players creating new characters as well. Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood introduced global quests that asks you to rob/kill people on all reagions.

Picked this up on sale at BB today and started a Templar at level 6 right now, not sure what I'm doing stats/skills wise but enjoying it so far.

Is it beneficial to have the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood stuff at low level? maybe i'll pay for a months sub and see how i feel.

Been playing for a while, would like to join the gaf guild please. Have some extra motifs and recipes, and other stuff I wouldn't mind unloading in other people in need. Psn is baronvonbeans :D

So i've been in queue for hours and hours for a dungeon (queued as a healer). Would having the DLC/ESO subscription improve this? I really prefer leveling through a good mix of dungeons and quests, i get bored questing easy and it sucks to not be able to shake it up with some good group content.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
I just picked the game up a couple of days ago, only a couple of hours in but so far I'm really impressed. IMO it's great looking, the world design seems pretty cool so far, a lot going on. Feels just like an Elder Scrolls Lite with loads of people in it .

All DLCs are battle leveled so you can play them with ease as soon as you leave the tutorial.

Im guessing the rewards are scaled to your level? Would it be better to wait til you're max level to do them or is there better end game loot?

Tempted to get ESO+ to check out these dlc

Since the las patch the dungeon finder is borked.

If there is a group of newer players on PS4 I am open to running dungeons on Tuesdays and Thursday's. If people are interested.

Yes, the rewards are scaled to your level. Story wise I believe it's better to play these DLCs after finishing all alliance quests first since there is a lot of friendly faces showing up on the side quests.

Thanks, then I'll wait til level cap. Also what is the consensus about ESO+ is it worth it?

It is worth it if you don't mind the monthly fee. You get crowns each month and the content so that's cool. I just happened to purchase a ton of crowns at the last sale and unlocked the expansions that way.

hmm im tempted to get ESO+ so i can afford a mount, seems like itll cost 10k for the cheapest one and I can't even break 1k yet lol.

I haven't had fun in a game in a very long time. I've been trying to get into games for awhile now, but I just end up quitter after a few days. The sense of discovery and the amount of things to do really grabbed me. I also love how you can steal from people and join an assassin's guild.

Also, someone please put some sense into me, I don't want to buy 100$ worth of crowns, but I really want to max out my riding speed / stamina.

How is the end game currently? I had it going and was loving my trek, hit cap and got a little distracted by other games, but was not really loving the grind that was considered end game. How are things these days, that was before imperial city I believe... So it's been awhile. But what I did play was a really good time and well worth the time spent.

Really hope they fix this dungeon queue issue soon. I'm level 19 and have yet to run a single dungeon, having been in queue the entire time since unlocking dungeons.

For real? I'm only level 7 and I've got about 1.2k right now. Just quests, looting everything and currently not actually buying anything either.

They really screwed the PS4 version with the DB patch, it's pretty much unplayable for me; what feels like 10-15 FPS constantly in random spots/instances, dungeon queue not working, quests taking forever to update on the map. I really hope they fix it because I want to play, but not in this state.

Yeah it's mental. I've basically refrained from playing in the Gold Coast due to these FPS, pop-in and lag issues. They have yet to even address it via social or on their forums, either.

I occasionally get pop ups that say my memory is almost used up and I should disable my addons (I don't have any) to continue playing.
