Correct. You make a character on a given server, and that is the only place that character will be.
IIRC, you are free to use either the US or EU servers though, so you could make a character on both to play with friends from those areas.

The fact that they were charging fifteen bucks a month at launch probably had a lot do with that.

Pause the game and go into email you should have some attachments that when opened give the maps

At launch of the PC version it was a turd. Even worse when the PC was in Beta. I got such a bad taste during PC Beta that I was thinking of not even trying it when it launched. Launch on PC was riddled with bugs, bots and so many other issues. Over the course of a year, they really worked to make the game great and when the 1.6 update rolled out it was just so much better.
If you look for any reviews after the 1.6 update came out which was about 2 months ago or so, it reviewed very well.
The game is so much different that Witcher 3 and I think playing both can coexist with each other really good. ESO is just so open in how and what you want to do. At times, I will log in just to explore and collect materials, other times I will group with friends and other times just solo and do some quests. There is just a ton of things to do in the game and it is really well done.

Starter areas are going to have lad due to the amount of new players in the area. I quick traveled to another zone and there was no lag and smooth. It is just 1st day pains.
There's no subtitles.

Pre-orders in my area weren't great enough to constitute a midnight release, so I just picked my copy up a little while ago for XBO and it's installing. Are there still server/log-on issues? I only have two other IRL buddies to play with, so if anyone wants to play later, my GT for XBO is : GEToffMEHnuts (I know it's immature. I just don't want to pay $15 to change it)

The random NPC chatter are not relevant to the games story or anything. Any NPC that you can click on and they zoom in will have text for what they are saying. The ones you cannot select are just non important NPC that will not offer anything to you. Some do say cool things though when you accomplish certain things, but nothing that will cause you to miss out on the main story or anything.

honestly I would wait and do the NA servers. You will eventually want to see some multiplayer content.
You can play on EU fine. You can't take your character back across, though.

Nope. The EU megaserver was in the U.S. for over 6 months after PC launch. People don't tend to notice.
Yes. The main quest is all solo only. You can finish all the PVE content solo.

Switch up your router settings? Open dns?I'd forgotten how shit the psn download speeds are. Sitting on a 70mbit connection and the current speed is around 700kb/s. I was hoping to play today, but no dice
