So can I actually use whatever I want? I mean in WoW I could fury warrior two staves and wear leather but i'd be worthless. If I'm plate bow wizard am I actually useful?


I'm really tempted to get in on this game. I'm also curious to the dungeons. My friends and I may get in and we take it pretty seriously. Are the dungeons a cakewalk or will we need to try? With that do you need a real comp, tank, healer, and two dps or can you do whatever?

I wanted to pick this one but honestly I'll wait till the servers are fixed. Basically buying games nowadays at launch is the equivalent of being a beta tester.

This is true, but I think with MMOs it's different and to be expected. So many people trying to log in etc

Everything is viable in some way, it just depends on what you're trying to do. In PVE you'd probably want light armor because there are magika bonuses in the skill tree for light, but in PVP you can certainly use Heavy, or even mix and match. You put points into "Light/medium/heavy" armors so you can take advantage of each skill if you mix and match armor, so you can certainly get a heavy look by using a few pieces of heavy and using the rest light so you get the best of both worlds.

You can do whatever you want and make it work somehow because all of the bonuses usually have some positive impact on your character regardless.

Any good guides on building a character? I am currently a breton sorceress but I don't really want to f..k up my skill tree if that is that important.

Any way when you're in a group to set your friends as markers on the compass. My friend and I had a hard sticking together in the fields of Glenumbra.

I am loving the crap out of this game, seriously been playing on first person exclusively with my redguard nightblade archer, feels so good.

I even did something I very rarely do which was spending 12 euros and bought some crowns to buy the horse and the assassins costume.

I even managed to snag the name Clint Barton :D

I seriously can not connect tonight. Been trying for over an hour. My queue is always 1, and when it eventually loads it either crashes me to the dashboard or gives me an internal error.

Doesn't seem to be an problems for EU (at least not when I try to play) which is good.

Was a GAF EU guild made yet?

Notice btw the number in queue moves. It shows a high number and then a smaller #. The Smaller # is your actual position in the queue I found out playing with it. So yes the game is PACKED.

I almost wonder if the high number is the # of people playing the game and it is accidentally showing it.

Game just became unplayable after 7:30pm EST or so. Done for tonight. Looking forward to tomorrow, but I imagine this weekend is going to be terrible. :/

So, the crazy wait times are because the area is full. I just died and it wont let me revive because too many other people are in the same dungeon. Cant be serious.

Same here, was in a dungeon and the enemys just stopped moving and became unresponsive to my attacks and next thing I know, the game crashed and now I get the login failed screen.


It was SUCH a dumb idea to cancel that console open beta. SUCH a bad idea. Now every player is paying the price for it.

Everyone please be patient. This game is obviously being hit hard with a TON of players.

Just know that as players start to spread out as people level it will improve.

Id been playing just fine for a couple hours with no trouble and then i get kicked off for 'sending too many messages at once, or spam'

... i havent sent a msg to anyone, and now i cant log back in.


Sigh.

The only time I ever played this game was back during the beta before the PC release. I thought it was pretty mediocre in jjust about every regard.

How improved is the game now? How are you guys liking it on PS4?

Bah, I go AFK for like 5 minutes to grab some food and when I get back the game has crashed to the PS4 dash. Then I can't get back in :(

Ah well, been through enough MMO launches to not expect much on week 1. I was surprised that the time I had with it getting to lvl 6 was pretty much smooth.
