I was hoping I got some too, but still the same amount I had earlierErrr, 1500 crowns came out of nowhere. They giving out bonuses or something? I know I already got my 1500 from subbing because I'm wearing some costumes I boubht.
My copy got delivered today, and I haven't tried it out yet, but the Explorer Pack code in it "Valid 07/09/2015-07/09/2016"
Is that right? I can't use it until next month?
How is everyone enjoying this game? I myself am having a great time. Anyone down for doing the first dungeon later tonight?
Omg I wish I didn't go digital, been two days and I've played like a total of a half hour. Can't even log in to this damn thing now because of some queue nonsense. Last time I'm buying a digital console game day one, experiences have been terrible but I just keep doing it like an idiot.
How long has this been going on? I was on around 12 and it was working fine.
I'd be down for the lvl 12 undaunted quest. How is everyone enjoying this game? I myself am having a great time. Anyone down for doing the first dungeon later tonight?
Make sure to post which version, megaserver and faction when asking
Just put a bunch of ingredients into the guild bank and I'm off to bed, until tomorrow
Sorcerer's don't yet quite have the passives or skill morphs compared to the other base classes as far as supporting stamina based builds. They are heavily bent towards favoring magicka builds. It's definitely doable because you have a ton of skill lines to draw from outside of any base class, but you'll be using less Sorcerer skills in your build than if you went with any other class to build upon if you build around stamina.
People referring to hybrids being at a disadvantage are speaking pretty much only about resource rather than gameplay. It definitely seems advantageous to favor either magicka or stamina rather than both due to the nature of most skills to only scale off one or the other (whichever is higher in many cases), so splitting your stat investment between magicka and stamina sort of gets hit twice in terms of opportunity cost.
Yeah, I understand the hybrid thing, it's definitely better to stack either of the resources.
I guess I was hoping for too much by wanting sorcerer to support stamina melee builds as much as other classes. I don't know what I was thinking picking sorcerer if I really don't want to be pure DPS caster at least as a main character (I don't know if pure casting is fun in this game but there's something inherently more je ne sais quoi to using weapons in first person), and that role is at least 60% of where that class' strengths lie from what I see. And an imperial to boot.
I think I'm going to reroll imperial templar, how versatile is that class?
Templar is probably the most versatile of the base classes. Having a skill line with dedicated healing skills is something pretty unique, and they still have good options for dipping into tank-ish or heavy offensive type setups. Imperial Templar sounds like a good combination for what you're looking for. You don't get any magicka bonuses that will directly help if you build towards healing or magicka-based offense, but the health bonus will allow you to invest more points directly into magicka, and the other Imperial bonuses will make for great melee & stamina setups.
That sounds interesting. Do templars have the option to go offensive caster? Are they competitive melee DPS?
I like healing and have mained healers at some point in every MMO I've played before so it's neat knowing I can don some light armor, respec and become a fully effective pure healer, should I choose to in the future. I know imperial doesn't come with racial bonuses to anything relevant to healing, but I wonder if it's required to be effective.
Our login queuing system is currently displaying the incorrect wait time and queue placement. This is purely a visual display bug that will be fixed in our next patch—the queuing system does work. Once you're in the queue, please do not leave the queue, close the game client, or otherwise navigate away from this screen. You will load into Tamriel as soon as you reach the front of the queue.
930,000th in queue.
5 minutes later I'm number 1 in queue.
5 minutes later, "login failed"
Got that 3 times in a row now.
I wait in queue, the game logs in and lets me select my character, character loads into the game and I get booted within 30 seconds.
Guess I'm done for the night.
Eu maintenance now. How long does that last?
Templars can pretty much do whatever you want from what I understand. Tamriel Foundry is a good place to check out if you want to learn more about the nitty gritty on this kind of stuff, here's the Templar sub-forum: http://tamrielfoundry.com/forum/classes/templar-class/
As far as maximizing healing it's much more important to just be a Templar than your racial choice, really.
How is everyone enjoying this game? I myself am having a great time. Anyone down for doing the first dungeon later tonight?
I'm not enjoying it at all. I attempted to play the game 5 times today and each time I was put in a queue. Two of those times it said I was the only person in the queue, but 15-20 minutes later I still wasn't in the game. All 5 times it estimated my wait time would be 1 second. My impressions of the dev team aren't very good right now. All the error messages and waiting in queues has done is finally convince me to get Witcher 3. I figure a single player long, deep game is just what I need right now after being frustrated beyond belief with ESO.
So my sorcerer is lvl 7. When should i expect to find a destuctive staff so i can pew pew pew lol
