I think they're not even trying to fix it at this point (despite the PR statements) and all they're doing is waiting it out until the massive influx of new people stop and then they'll say "we fixed everything, logins should be smooth now".

Yeah I'm sure that's exactly what they're doing with arguably the biggest launch of this game's life.

So people with login issues. It will get better this is an MMo that just released and this time of day with people getting off work is is peak login time.

For those new to MMO's, welcome to launch week. Most of the time these games are unplayable the first couple of weeks.

Well, in two weeks Arkham Knight comes out for me. If it is still busted when that releases then I will be pretty disenchanted and there is no telling when I might get back to it. As there is a lot coming up after that and shortly after E3.

Anyone have a link to what skills I should train on a nightblade? I'm having hard time finding any guides that specifically state what skills I should get.

Can you summarize the link? Their forums are loading like their login servers for me. IE not loading. It looks like it's related to a console mega server crash?

this was posted a few moments ago although the time says something else because of time zone setting.

Hello everyone,

We're aware that some of you just got kicked from the game and cannot log in, and we are actively investigating. This has only affected the console megaservers.

We'll let you know as soon as we have an update. Thank you!

Update: This affected the Xbox One and PS4 North American megaservers; the European megaservers were not affected. We're also investigating possible issues with the PC North American megaserver.

Thanks for your patience, everyone! We're on it!

Besides Batman, what else is out before the Fall rush?

After that, September is the big month for me with the likes of MGSV and Mad Max. However, I also have a huge backlog of great games just waiting on me. When you can't play a game that you bought, you tend to lose interest and move on.

Well technically it sounds like you purchased great games that you didn't even open, yet are going back to

So I expect to see you back here when the servers are back up

I could be completely wrong though haha

So I've been playing the game and liking it a lot so far, unfortunately I can't play tonight because my house is being fumigated but apparently I'm not losing out on anything.

I've been having second thoughts about the character I created though, and I was hoping someone could help me decide. I am absolutely set on playing an Imperial main, the other races are strictly for alts, but I was also interested in being a sorcerer because of flavor and what I mistakenly believed at the time were utility skills (when I read they had teleport I thought it was teleport as opposed to a blink ability).

I know that for a caster sorcerer imperial is suboptimal, but I thought it was alright because my plans were to be mainly melee, with self buffs and spells for support as opposed to a pure caster. That's what always tend to go for in the free form system of single player Elder Scrolls games; a gish or battlemage.

However further research into the game (the curse/blessing of downtime) have led me to a lot of people stating that not only are hybrids hampered by relatively recent changes, but that the weapon/stamina based sorcerer faces an uphill battle in order to be competitive with other classes at melee.

So yeah, I'm wondering how accurate that is and if should change classes before getting any further. I'm early enough into the game that I wouldn't mind at all, and I do care about being competitive.

Oh, I still plan to play. But if it keeps having issues, then yeah, I'll move on and will get back to it in spurts down the road.

Sorcerer's don't yet quite have the passives or skill morphs compared to the other base classes as far as supporting stamina based builds. They are heavily bent towards favoring magicka builds. It's definitely doable because you have a ton of skill lines to draw from outside of any base class, but you'll be using less Sorcerer skills in your build than if you went with any other class to build upon if you build around stamina.

People referring to hybrids being at a disadvantage are speaking pretty much only about resource rather than gameplay. It definitely seems advantageous to favor either magicka or stamina rather than both due to the nature of most skills to only scale off one or the other (whichever is higher in many cases), so splitting your stat investment between magicka and stamina sort of gets hit twice in terms of opportunity cost.

Uh so I just booted my PS4 real quick not having checked the thread to see that it was futile anyway...and my PS4 started downloading the 15gb patch again...did I do something wrong? Can I undo it? Am I fucked?

Yup peak times will be challenging. I was off today and had no issues until around 2pm PST and then it began to get more lag and when I crashed and tried to rejoin I was stuck in a que for a while.
