The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited - |OT| - Console edition

Are these crafting dailies worth doing?

Did the clothing writ. What do I do with the rewards? Would it not be worthwhile to keep the mats?

I've been getting ~300-350g per writ, and the supply boxes have awarded a few maps that I have not actually hunted down yet to see what they lead to. Given that they also seem to award a substantial chunk of crafting XP they seem like a good use of time for how easy they are to do.

The character deletion limit is killing me.

I have a habit of creating characters and not liking how they look once you get out into the world.

I'd like unlimited deletes if you're a subscriber, that'd be nice.

I totally get why it's there on the PC side of things, but it's totally not necessary in the console space. It's not like people can setup bots and spam chat channels.

I watched a few videos and thought that this game looks interesting. How does combat feel like? I never played an Elder Scrolls game and it looks like it plays like a TPS. What other game does the combat system compare to?

Combat is not a highlight of Elder Scrolls games. It's serviceable at best. If you prefer games with "tight" combat mechanics these games aren't for you.

Couple quick questions, I'm sure they've been answered but I'm too lazy to peruse the whole thread.

Are there level restrictions for grouping with friends in this game? If my friend is level 40 and I'm level 5, can he still group with me and do co-op stuff?

Devs confirmed in a twitch feed that anyone of any level can play together and each party will receive appropriate rewards.

Does this game truly feel like an MMO? Will I see other players fairly often exploring the world, outside of cities/hub areas?

Yes, this game is a full featured MMO, youll even see randoms in the dungeons.

Is there quite a bit of clothing/armor/weapon options for each class? Do most players look fairly unique, or does it have the issue of seeing the same 6 templates across other players?

There's a lot of "styles" for the same piece of armor. Each race has a unique "style" for each piece of equipment. You can mix and match different styles of armor pieces for a unique look, like brenton gloves with orc boots. You can even dye each piece of armor with multiple colors. Also there are costumes which change the way your character looks cosmetically.

Does the game world feel very large? Is this a game where you could have played for 100 hours and still have new places to go?

If we compare this game's world to skyrim, there's 17 playable spaces that's around the size of Skyrim, with Cyrodiil(from oblivion) being the biggest space, since its a open world PVP playground. There's also a few smaller play spaces too not counted in that number. In other words, it's so big, I'm not even sure if it's possible for one player to explore all the playable spaces in this game. And DLC is adding more.

Sorry for the noob barage of questions, my friends and I recently burned out on Destiny so it would be nice to find a new game to play together, hopefully one with a lot of content.

Thanks!

Answers are in the quote above.

This is one reason I play first person.

yeah the loot is actually quite good

what do i use the writs on? Or is that just the name of the quests?

And are the 1k inspiration points just crafting xp for that skill?

I'm loving every aspect of the PVE content, but I'm not feeling PVP as much. I tried playing for hours today but I suck at it. I don't know if I'm underlevel or just plain bad. I'm level 12 and I'm dying pretty fast. I'm a Khajjit Nightblade focused on Bow and Arrows. Can anyone give me ay tips? I joined the Non-Veteran Campaing but I'm seeing lots of level 40~50 guys playing there. I don't get it.

I almost done downloading the game so I let you know soon. :)
Might be running out soon to pick up a new air Conditioner, thread isn't moving too quick and I have it bookmarked so just drop your screen name in here and I'll hit you up when I'm back.

So where do I get myself some Dwarven oil from?

So I'm doing the Prismatic Core quest for the Fighters' Guild and getting nowhere.

Finally realized that the quest is bugged, and when I google it, find out that the same bug has been plaguing PC players for some time. :/

Edit: I was able to fix it with a hard reboot. Seems PC players had to jump through more hoops, so there's that. :p

Tried another dungeon. Still have no idea who is has aggro aside from when I'm being attacked and I have no idea who is what. So very annoyed.

Use voice chat and ask?

Well I mean yeah we're talking but in the heat of battle it turns into a bunch of screaming and the tank complains we're stealing aggro and I can't even tell who has it. Unless it's different for a tank and he can see aggro.

So North America PS4 GAF, now that we got enough members in our guild to have our own guild store and can rent a trader to sell our items to other players, how you guys feel about that???

Is that something we should look into by becoming a trading guild also???

I've been reading a lot of info and even started a small guild with my personal friends just to get a better understanding on the guild's systems and I think this could be a nice feature for us, can make us some coin for item we don't really need or want but can sell to others for cheaper price than retail.

This is actually a really good long run plan.

I'm drunk, on my way home. Buy or not buy? You've got 20 minutes until I get home. Choice is in your hands. Buying this game will not hurt me financially. Never done a drink purchase regarding games before. Thoughts, Gaf?

Joined the PS4 NA guild after getting my Wild Elf Nightblade Archer just to level 5. I bought this with being a little hesitant doing so, but so far, having a pretty solid time with it! Look forward to playing more, unfortunately wont be until Sunday!

You'll be sober by the time the initial patch installs

Just hit level 10. Really loving the game. Will be back on in a bit. I'm about ready to party up with some gaffers for that first dungeon. Psn xxRONN1Nxx hit me up if you see me online

LOL wtf I just crashed my friend's PS4 with a weird bug involving my Ultimate ability. The Dragon Leap didn't actually leap, instead the wings spread out and just stuck there. I called over my friend to check it out and he stops dead in his tracks, leaves the party, etc
So weird

I'm looking to buy this but I'm wondering which version to buy. Does the Imperial edition offer a lot more or does it just give you the imperial race? I mean does it make a huge difference because $30 more for a race doesn't matter to me much.
