They spot you too easily.
I break in a house, get flagged, walk out the door, get spotted, run, get CCed and killed.
Or I get spotted a mile away.

Further down the skill tree you u lock after your first theft you can increase stealth and theif abilities. Also as a nightblade there is shadowcloak.

I just realized you can stealth in combat. I was able to ditch a guard after exiting a building pretty quickly.

I don't get it. Just don't steal/loot anything unless you're hidden from view.
Breaking into a house flags you. Then in another house a guard spotted me too easily and you're stuck in there with him.
There's only a few houses in Daggerfall without guards or locked doors.
Flags you only if you are seen doing it. Right?
Flags no matter what if people are inside.

I can see why though. My lag to kill that werewolf on that instanced quest is insane. I've killed him 5 times ported out and keeps going back to kill again

If it helps it the lag and queues times were very very bad.I literally just got done putting my kids to bed and finishing homework, and hop on only to have the server go down.
I could tell that is where it was headed when all of the lag, crashes and long loading times started about an hour and a half ago.

Did my first dungeon with some randoms earlier. Damn it was fun. I still hate the game as an MMO since I think the whole phase stuff just ruins the concept of playing with friends unless we make the same choices, but I'm loving it as a solo experience. The dungeon run was the exception.

You still wouldn't have gotten to play because the lag was making everyone stand still for serveral seconds and if you went to a loading screen, you were there for ten or more minutes, and I aint even joking when I said MINUTES at the loading screen. even a in-game message saying the loading is unusually long.
the servers are down for maintenance, you cant do anything.

Okay, so I just caved in and bought the Ultimate Edition (or whatever it is called) off of PSN and I'm downloading it. BUT FFS the download speeds of PSN at the moment. I started the download yesterday at 8PM and now it is 8AM the next morning, I have downloaded 8,3Gb of the game in 12 hours and it's still showing a whopping 66 hours to go. Fuck those speeds.
