On X1 and I have what is surely a very dumb question. I know how to bring up my hot key wheel by hitting the D-pad, but how do I assign weapons to it within the menu? I want to be able to swap between my sword and bow more rapidly. Thanks!

You don't unlock that ability until level 15. The wheel you're accessing now is only for consumables.

When you see two little crossed swords anywhere on the map it means there are actually people fighting. I just recognized that myself a few moments ago.

me and my buddies beat spindleclutch the other day, I have to say it was some of the most fun we have had in awhile and just as fun as a Destiny raid or strike.

granted it was all combat and no real puzzles but man it was great.

Jumped in and downloaded overnight. Question for the vets re: Sorc. Is a summoning / pet build / necromancer style play viable in this game or should I high-elf / elemental magic?

Thinking about getting this game later today. Mind if I ask a couple questions?

Without spoiling anything, How would you rate the Story? ( I need something with a meaty story.)

Does this game have a end plot wise?

Edit: do I choose my server, if so which one do I pick (NA)? This would be my first MMO.

NA - Daggerfall
There is a story, but then there are side quests that have voice acted stories as well, a lot going on, it's a MMO, I would be lying if I told you I Harp on every last word of a story, my main concern is leveling and getting loot

I'm surprised how well it plays, there is the odd stutter when in heavily populated areas. I was in a 50 v50 ish pvp battle tonight and it was smooth the whole way.

Combat is responsive enough but it is an elder scrolls game and the combat is similar to those games and I don't think they have the most responsive combat at all, so don't expect ground breaking combat.

Both of you should have invites for the EU guild waiting for when you next get on.

Will i get ganked in pvp? I always prefer pvp over pve in mmos and would like to try but I could just use another character.

Also:

Are my treasure maps locked on my first character? :/

And, why is every quest reward loot thats useless to me

You can just deposit your maps in the bank and withdraw them with another character.

is fungal grotto the equivalent of spindleclutch but for the other factions?

pretty close to hitting level 15 and I don't know which weapon I'm going to pick as secondary, was thinking bow to have a long range alternative to dual-wielding, but some part of me want to try something crazy like resto staff for healing to go along with high dps of dual wield.

What class are you? I wouldn't recommend resto unless you're templar tbh

at 15 I'll have an inferno/lightning staff as my secondary to do more damage than my resto

BTW whats max level on all skills? 100?

Added some stuff to eu guild bank

will craft some gear so crafters can dismantle for faster exp too, will do it tomorrow.

I believe it is 50, like the crafting skills max out at 50.

You guild store can be accessed from any bank, you just select Guild Store to put items on it for sale. This can be done at a bank or where you trader if you guild has a npc trader.

Oh okay. I thought that was separate. Anyone know why they have specific guild store booths then? Seems kind of pointless.

Time for bed. Almost got to 30 but I am beat. Sorry to whoever invited me for something before I logged off.

Really enjoying this game. I think when you are using 2 weapons and putting out a lot of spells it is really fun. Playing as a magic user I think the game is a bit more fun than as melee outside of sword and board. The melee combat feels like you are swinging a broomstick. There is no weight behind anything. Only popping some mob in the face with a shield bash is at all satisfying as melee from what i have played. On my sorcerer I am just nuking the shit out of everything and it is just fun.

Because a non guild member cant access your guild store in a bank. In the world, the NPC Guild traders act like other normal NPC's, but their wares are from your guild store. Other non-guild players cannot post things to sell, they can just buy off of your guild store npc.

Okay, thanks. I never really looked into them other than trying to go to the sell section and seeing No Permission so I assumed it was strictly for that specific guild.

Couldn't get online at all yesterday on EU side. Kept getting in queue with "0 length and 30 second wait", that just timed out after a few minutes.

Ended up playing Dishonored instead. Incredible that no company has yet to get an MMO launched without all these problems.

Does anyone have a dungeon leveling path?? So far in DC we have done bad mans hallow and spindleclutch. Where is the next one we should be working towards?

Also I see that other dungeons are on my map? Even ones in other factions? Can I do those?

Also does every delve give an achievement? It seems like some do and some don't, but maybe I am missing something.

I assume when you join a dungeon group via the finder you still need to actually go to the physical dungeon? There are ones on my finder that I have no idea where they are.

Also 4 times now the finder has just dumped me in a group of 3 and we never find a 4th, is this normal?

I had a 4 man team once and it was awesome until one guy dropped right near the end and we couldn't finish.
