For example, if our guild gets this stand that the skooma smugglers have, any player that interacts with the guild trader at this stand can see what items we have for sale and can buy them from us.

Our guild trader will have our guild name above the guild trader so others know who the guild trader belongs to.

Its similar to buying a store in real life. If people want to buy the items your selling, they have to go to your store location to get them.

How long does a Guild get a specific NPC to sell for? Will this specific NPC only/always sell Skooma Smugglers goods or is there a point when their contract runs out and someone else would be able to rent it?

Bad news, we lost the bid for the guild trader. The bidding has closed for this week. So we must start again next week.

After doing a bidding, I now understand how the bidding works.

Now it makes sense as to why there are no bids on a guild trader at all through out the week, but yet a new guild is at the guild trader. The bid wars doesn't start until the very last minute, literally.

The bidding for the entire week ends at 8:00am EST. And what ever guild has the highest bid at closing time will own the guild trader for that week.

So meaning, guild leaders and officers have to be at a guild trader at 7:59am EST to try to out bid the other guilds before it hits 8:00am.

The thing that makes me so mad is that I googled for this info and didn't find it. And I was up at the gym around 7am this morning too, if i'd known this info before hand, I would have stayed home for the guild traders instead........got dammit.

Next week, I'll be prepared though.

Shit that sucks. Are we able to contribute to this via the Guild Bank?

Yup, the bidding funds comes directly from the guild bank. The game doesn't even allow you to use your personal funds for the bidding. So the more money in the guild bank, the more buying power we have to outbid other guilds. So every piece of gold that enters the bank will help.

The PvP is such a blast. Nothing cooler than riding away from a keep with 10 bros, linking up with 15 more while en route to the enemy base, and seeing a vast number of siege engines and allies dotting the battlefield, all raining hell down upon the enemy fort. A wall is destroyed, your covenant floods the opening, the battlements are systematically cleared, a battering ram is set up, the interior doors are smashed, one final push to massacre the remaining enemies holding out inside, and the fort is taken.

So much fun.

Gotcha! I'll toss some in the next time I log!

A tip to you guys for guild trader funds.

Try to do some fund raiser/auction/contests to raise funds for the guild trader. Obviously don't force people to put money in, but for those who craft and want to sell/make money do something like a raffle every week to raise money.

A lot of guilds do raffles for yellow crafting upgrade materials, etc. For example one I was in on PC would do one each week for legendary upgrade materials and would raise thousands of gold to get their guild trader each week.

If you don't have a lot of crafters/sellers in the guild then this could be difficult, but you could place the information in this thread for everyone to follow along and send you in game mail with money for the raffle, etc.

Sounds awesome. I just unlocked PvP last night. Will have to check it out.

You scale to max level when in Cyrodiil correct?

Pvp is amazing. One of the greatest multiplayer experiences ever. Only down side is the 3 hour wait i had last night to get into my home campaign. Wtf. 3 Hours! These kids never leave or sleep. Its crazy how organized and dedicated dragonfall faction is at blackwater.

Honestly its so refreshing to see how packed the console version is. It's such a breath of fresh air from the PC version, not that it is dead or anything, but seeing how many people are playing on console is amazing.

So I'm seeing that mounts are like 40K, am I better off just buying one from the crown store or will I eventually unlock one at a certain level? Same question with pets as well. I'm level 13 right now

I did my first dungeon last night (Spindleclutch) and damn, it was a lot of fun!

I'm leveling up a Templar healer but was very skeptical about it as I haven't enjoyed healing in any MMO that isn't Wildstar. Wildstar made it enjoyable due to the way the combat worked. It was much more interactive because you had to aim your heals while dodging damaging attacks. I hate playing Whack-a-Mole.

With how open each class is in ESO, I figured I could just respec to a different play style on my Templar if I didn't enjoy healing in this game. Well there's no need for me to respec as I LOVED healing last night in Spindleclutch. The smart healing system seems to work really well and I don't have to constantly stare at health bars. I'm also required to do damage in between heals so that I can regenerate my Magicka. For me, it is the perfect blend of traditional and interactive healing. I'm not sure if this changes at higher levels. I really hope it doesn't!

And those whispers thoughout the dungeon. /shiver

Mount is 10k.

The skills on all are the exact same (You can level 1 skill every 20 hours for 250 gold) the different horses are just skins

There are cheaper mounts (10k I think) that you can buy at the stables. There's no difference between the cheap and the expensive mounts besides the skin. They all start at the same base stats and you then personally choose which stats to increase (speed, stamina, bag capacity) by buying the increases at the stable trainer.

Edit: beaten :D

Thanks for the tips! I'll wait it out then until I can get 10K

Haven't been following this thread too much, but is there a big gaf guild for NA Daggerfall Covenant on Xbox One?

My friends and I have been on at different times likely, it'd be nice to run some organized pvp when they're not around.

How does one get permission to do deposits and withdrawals from the GAF guild? (PS4 NA)

Would taking out like 1000 gold be allowed, or is that money for something else (like a guild trader)?

Elder Scrolls Online is NOT free to play. This game cost $60. It's a subscription-less MMO.

All members can deposit gold into the guild bank, but withdrawing gold is not allowed.
Once you deposit gold into the guild bank, your not getting it back. Which is why we recommend that you only drop 100 gold a week in the guild bank, or more if money is not an issue for you. But that's purely up to each member whether they donate or not and the amount they want to donate.

The guild gold is purely for bidding on guild traders so all members can sell their items to the public.

Silly question perhaps, but can you explore other parts (all parts of the map) regardless of your covenant after certain point?

Yes, members of each alliance can visit the other alliance regions. From what PC players tell me, you can go there once you get to level 50 and completed the main story in your alliance. If that changed for the console version, I can not say since the game is still new.

Oh, awesome. What's the hard limit? I created a guild for my friends, but I would love to partake in spreading the Daggerfall Covenant's power and reign over Cyrodiil with GAF members, if I could get an invite.

Not sure how you are able to do dungeons. I group via the groupfinder and that only leads to 4 people questing and no one traveling to the dungeon. No one uses microphones either.

The dungeon experience for me is very sour so far. ( level 12)

I was lucky enough to find a group of people via group finder who play their roles and as a team. We breezed through the first 3 dungeons, so i added them as friends for future dungeons. And now my gaming sessions are spent collecting lots and lots of wood. God damn i never thought id be into an mmo elder scrolls game so much.

Did my first dungeon at level 15 last night, with a buddy of mine and two randoms. We were all DPS so it was pretty difficult. Enjoyably so. After breezing through FF14 dungeons prior to this, the extra challenge was very welcome, even if endless mudcrabs became frustrating. The final boss was a huge pain, but after a few tries, we managed to down him.

Loving this game more than I thought I would.

Having fun with this game so far. Although I don't really feel pushed into other areas like I do most other MMOs, which is weird. I'm already almost out of quests at level 7 and I've run around Stonefall, Bal Foyen, and Bleakrock.

Are characters tied to the account or the system? If I were to log into a new ps4 with my psn would I be able to pull up my character?

They are tied to your account and platform. Each platform have their own servers but your account info is universal.

Went on vacation for a week.

STILL MISSING my PSN digital Imperial Edition + Pre-order content AND 5500 Crowns I purchased.

and my support ticket was resolved as "Solved".

WTF ZOS, what are you doing?

Just bought the game not really knowing what to expect. Can't play until later tonight. What guild is GAF mostly in? Also, is it like other MMOs where it doesn't get fun until late game?

I've been wanting to try this game and it is in my local Red Box. How much will I have to download with the physical game?

Are you planning on doing this for our Xbox One guild? I have 2 $25 Xbox Live cards that I can donate 1 at a time for that cause if we have enough interested.

I just wander all over, hit 15 today and still have many quests that I have not completed

The transition to console for this game has been amazing

Now if only I could find some decent Templar healer leveling buiilds

So even though I played the PC version since it's beta time frame until the console version, I never dabbled in PVP. Yesterday, I decided to try it out on consoles and it was such a blast. We had a group of 24 doing from point to point and just having such a great time.

But as a first time PVP'r in this game and being a healer, how is the best way to manage healing when in large groups? I had a hard time telling who to heal since it seemed like complete mayhem. Is there no way to lock onto a player and heal that person? I see people's health dropping on my screen, but it was hard for me to know who was who when you have 40 players going at it.

Is there no way to have like a group within a group where I can lock on and target like 3 specific players? Any other tips for being a healer in PVP?

I am going to try if we have interest in it for sure. The problem is it's really hard to get the message out to all of the guild members unlike the PC version where you can mass mail everyone. Need to figure something out.

Changing the message of the day on the guild gives everyone in the guild a notification, so we can do it that way. One of my other guild changes theirs like 2 times a day and I will get an audible notification and when I look at notifications it is an updated message of the day.

Not a bad idea, we'll have to get together and talk about it.

Posted this a page or two back:

My tips for a templar healer.

First ability in the Aedric line (forgot name), that should be morphed to Puncturing Sweep, is your melee range AOE ability. The first ability in the Dawn's Wraith line, morph to the one that hits multiple targets, is your ranged attack. The last ability in the Dawn's Wraith when morphed to Radiant Destruction is your end-game ranged and execute ability. Nova is the correct ult. That is really all the offense you'll need to get into the vet levels.

For early game healing get the first ability in the restro line, morph it to Healing Springs. This is your AOE healing over time (HOT) spell. It will stack so try and to always keep it up during dungeon fights. Also get the first ability in the Restoring Light line, morph it to Breath of Life (BoL). This is your "oh crap" button. It is the best burst heal in the game. BoL is expensive so use wisely. These two alone will get you through most of the early dungeons.

I've got a v14 templar healer that I use for running some of the high level end game content. At this level I go with a restrorestro weapon setup. My bars are: Breath of Life, Puncturing Sweep, Healing Springs, Extended Ritual, Repentance, Ult: Nova and bar two is Breath of Life, Radiant Destruction, Luminous Shards, Syphon Sprit, Structured Entropy, Ult: Nova

Note, I've got BoL on both bars; you do not want to get into a "oh crap" moment and have to worry about which bar you have up. Also notice the second ability on both bars is my offensive spell, Puncturing Sweep is my AOE, Radiant Destruction (the Jesus beam) is my execute spell.

Armor: start with 5 light, 2 heavy till you get your character level up into the mid 40's, at that point switch to 7 light. When you are able to do some armor crafting, or can find someone to help, you'll want a 5 set of the Seducers armor. Great passives for a magic based build.

Attribute points should be a ratio of 2 magic to 3 health. Later on put 2 (total) into stamina for dodge rolling, etc. Note, the attribute distribution is what I needed at end game. As you level up put the points where ever they are needed.

Lastly, as a healer, your job in a group dungeon is to keep everyone alive. If you can toss in a little damage, great!. But, if you've used up your magic doing damage and cannot toss out some healing when needed your group could wipe and you'd have failed. So, heals is first priority, damage second.
