I have just created a Dark Elf, Dragonknight on the US server, Ebonheart pack.

Whenever you guys can I would like an Invite to the Gaf guild please, Kitaj is the character name.

I want to be a tank all the way, hopefully this was a good choice. Later down the line should I try to be a Vamp or a WW?

Or should I try and get a bite early on?

Werewolf is better for tanking because of the stamina regen bonus.

Also, if tanking is your primary goal, then Imperial or Redguard, to a lesser extent, would be a better choice. Something to consider if this a character you just made.

Some of the block changes coming are going to make stamina even more important for a tank than it already is.

Oh really? I just thought the Dark Elves passives were not bad in conjunction with a DragonKnight, you know some extra fire damage on top of my abilities and such.

I just created him yes, lv 6 atm maybe I should reconsider then.....

We are on the Daggerfall side, I wouldn't be opposed to rolling a ebon heart character though just to see what the game is like on that side

Dunmer make great DKs, particularly magic-based ones, but Imperial DK is the best tank in the game.

We are on the Daggerfall side, I wouldn't be opposed to rolling a ebon heart character though just to see what the game is like on that side

AH! my bad sorry, I am still considering what race I will roll for a tank so I will be switching up the alliance for Daggerfall for sure. Ill let you know soon.

Agreed. I use my mic from time to time but even in a town with loads of other players, no one talks. The only time I talk to people is when I randomly group with them just outside of dungeons.

No text chat is bad enough, but not having cross platform servers seals the deal. The community will only decrease over time between all 3 available and separated platform servers.

Will it be possible for them to implement cross-platform if it comes down to a life or death scenario for the game? At least between PS4 or XBO and PC, if it's too hard to get Sony and MS to play nice?

Nope, not possible. Already tried.

It'll be awesome if they had some type of alliance switch feature that you had to pay money for. Like how some mmos do that for server switching.

It's under Assault from the Alliance War.

I can't remember the name because I morphed it but it's the first active ability. I think you need to play PvP for a little bit to get it to show up under skills.

It's weird, I would have figured the weekend to be more active but during the week I was selling items like crazy in the guild store, I was usually running out of things to sell.

Since last night though I've only sold just one item and now my inventory is getting cluttered.

You probably missed lots of quests then. On level 43 I was finishing Eastmarch and entering The Rift.

I played the game when it came out at launch on PC and even with the Chat Box, which I think it is important, I actually had a lot more fun doing dungeons with people and using the mic on the Xbox One. It was so much easier to talk about we should be doing versus a chat box.

Now, I am not saying I don't want it as an option, which is what they should do. For me chat was really good for selling items, calling for help, for example when a world boss would appear you could type in "world boss spawned at location"..."please help". That is lost without a chat box. Also the ability to sell items to the general population is easier with a chat box and being able to link items in the chat box so people can see the tiem you are selling.

Mainly Daggerfall, but we have a lot of members in other factions as well. I would say 70% is Daggerfall.

As much as I joke about it, I like mic chat in ESO a lot, but I agree that having text chat as well would be better.

Mic chat in a dungeon or similar scenarios is something that text chat can't compete with.

My biggest gripe with voice chat is the channels limitation. I'm in group chat almost all the time, which means I can't be in guild chat most of the time. I hope they change that.

I really didn't. My maps are almost completely filled, give or take a few dungeons and caves that I've discovered but didn't enter. I've gone through most areas again on horseback today and found a couple in each but that's about it.

I'm going to head back to Alik'r Desert and hope to find a few more since it's an area I spent the least amount of time in because it was such a boring setting.

I think what might be the problem is that from levels 25-35 I spent so much time on horse back that I was just breezing through areas and not fighting nearly as much as I should have. I've since stopped using it as often though.

I'm also done with mages and fighters guild quest lines.

Thats a big factor in your issue. Quest gives VERY little exp. Most of the exp in those mini side quest comes from fighting.

Also, always do the dungeons, get the skyshard in them and defeat the boss for items and exp in those dungeons. And do the group ones too. Those will always give a skill point, a blue item and hella exp.

Thats because the guild trader owners are about to change. People holding their gold waiting to see if new guild traders will show up with new inventory. Thats what i do.

Picked this up this morning for PS4 and put a few hours into it, and once you get past the typical awkward intro area it's been quite enjoyable. Something about the game I find really relaxing, like this is a game you put on when you just want to chill. Graphically of course it's not as detailed as something like Witcher 3, but I'm liking the less cluttered look, graphics are sharp and benefit from good lighting, and the music helps set the tone. Folks have called it "Elder Scrolls Lite" but I dunno, it still feels very ES to me, the MMO aspects add an interesting dynamic, and I kinda like the random voice chat of people nearby, it adds a nice counterpoint of absurdist humor at times.

I remember it took me a while to figure it out too the first time. Really is weird it doesn't let you do it when your transformation meter is full.

Yeah, I definitely think that was the case because I was skipping so many hordes of enemies because I could just ride right by them. It's alright though, I only use it when travelling long distances now and I'm making up for it.
