The problem is the cost to win a bid. We need to earn a lot of money during the week we have the guild store up, and donate a lot to the guild in order to bid....with less people joining, and more people leaving then who is there earn the guild the money?
I think there are cheap traders out in the middle of nowhere, the ones in cities can be pretty damn pricey from what I've read.
I was going to suggest the same regardless, Dre is the most active without question and should be the guild master.
Really? 350+ hours and I never noticed, lol. I know it does sometimes, but for the most part I thought it played one after another with very minimal breaks in between...
The thing about the bids, is that, the price is 100 gold for all the guild traders. When we won the bid last time, I placed 20k down.
But I did not see any other bids though.
This time I did the same, and we lost.
I did not see the other bid, so either they bid at the last second and I didnt see it, or the bid didnt update itself on the UI on time for me to see it, or the bids are blind where as everyone just place a bet and you just hope that yours is higher than the rest.
The highest amount that can place on a bid is 99,999.
There are guild traders in the outlaw refuge? Never even noticed them. lol
Yup, there's a guild trader in every refuge in the game. I thought about putting money into one, but wanted the high traffic areas instead.
Yup, you can only put a bid down for ONE guild trader at a time. So you have to really commit to that trader. Or else youll have to wait till the next week to bid on a new one.Oh are they? That's something I didn't notice.
You can only bid on one at a time right?
About to head over to Best Buy to pick this up on PS4...gotta work that GCU subscription.
Is there any point to guilding up if I'm not going to have much time to play regularly once September hits? I typically solo and never really get hardcore into MMOs, but it's always nice to have some dependable people to do light dungeoning with occasionally.
Yes, in this game guilds are far more important than in any other MMO ive played. If you want to sell stuff, you HAVE to be in a guild, as only big guilds have the ability to sell items. You also can use the guild bank to deposit and withdrawn items from other members. Not to mention the whole PVP thing with guilds and stuff. But the most important being the guild store.
There are a couple guild traders in Wayrest that are still open and don't have a guild. Does that mean no one bid for them?
Nah, when the traders move over to new owners, for what ever reason, the server doesn't update the trader with the new guilds name. server lag. But if you go to the trader and try to buy something, youll see the name of the guild your buying from. When we won our guild trader, our name wasnt on the guild trader for a full day.
Any reason to keep crafting mats you've outleveled?
.
-make gear for your new characters.
-can make stuff for other friends.
-use them for crafting writs.
-make stuff and sell
Damn, just one point in it makes a huge difference.
btw is it me or the crab champion in Fungal Grotto harder than the main boss of the dungeon? I mean holy fuck.
yea, ive ran a few dungeons where the last boss was cake, but the eariler bosses we wiped on multiple times.
