Use the save tool, it can delete scripts and mods from save files.
You may be fucked. Breezehome overhaul is notoriously difficult to uninstall as it adds new scripts through all of whiterun. Even in game, there's a lengthy process for preparing the actual space for uninstallation.
Do you have any saves from before your attempts to uninstall?
Alternatively, you may want to use the console commands to kill and respawn Lydia, that may solve the issue of her being invisible.

Absolutely have saves from before, around 60 of them ;p
Killing Lydia and resurrect dint help. So either keeping Breezehome Overhaul or restarting from 0, but started noticing other bugs problems as I went through the game now, so will probably wipe and restart.
Tried removing scripts and mods from save but she (Lydia is still gone/not working)
Doesn't look better then to document what I have done, have in terms of gear etc and so on, and start from a clean Skyrim install and start from the beginning of the game again.
Ugh worse thing about modding. When one goes rogue and there's no way to fix it. Had that happen a few times, now after 350+ mods installed I try to be very selective of what I install.
Yeah, decided to wipe my Skyrim save and game folder, will start from zero again.
58 mods to research what install order to do, and I am finding more small mods at STEP wiki that I might add this time around on top of that. ;p
You ARE using LOOT right?
You ARE using LOOT right?
Install order (so not to break any previously installed mods), not load order.
But yes I'm using a load order rearranger previously BOSS, have not tried LOOT yet (more then check that it gives a totally different load order compared to BOSS)
How much easier is it to mod compared to last year? A year ago I spent hours trying to setup S.T.E.P and then all of the additional mods I wanted to use, with the end result being a crashing game.

There is Mod organizer which is a new Manager for mods .
The great things about it amongst others is :
No more bloated Skyrim Directory ( in fact your Directory won't get touched at all )
All mods are organized into their own folder so they no longer overwrite each other anymore and makes Managing your Mods much less of a nightmare .
While the learning curve is a bit steeper then simply using NMM it is still very easy .
If interested , give Gophers tutorial vids a look , they are awesome .

Sounds to me that with MO you never have to think about overwriting anything at anytime anywhere, just place stuff in the correct LOAD order and it will work.
No more do I install this and allow it to overwrite the previous mod or not, just install in a folder of its own and place below the one you update and it will work.
Now ofc, you actually might want to merge a mainfile with its update so to just have 1 mod for it instead of 1 main and x number of updates, but that's another thing. ;P
Absolutely going to try MO out.
You can totally do that with MO !
I'm super ready for this. This and Skywind.
I believe the quote was, "when it's ready"Do you know if there's a prevision for when they will release these mods?
Uninstall mods and then reinstall the game.I want to do a fresh install of Skyrim, since I kind of messed up with mods (too many texture packs, I'm going to stick with 1 this time, the less VRAM intensive mods and maybe an ENB). Do I need to uninstall all the mods with Nexus Mod Manager, or just uninstall/reinstall the game with Steam?
And what mods would you guys reccomend for me? I have a 2GB 760 and a i5-3570k at 3.4ghz. I actually like the vanilla look of the game. So I basically just want a fairly complete, higher res texture pack that my 2GB of VRAM can handle easily, a tree mod for more variation/density (I have one in mind), and maybe ones that will improve draw distance and the like. Basically, I just want to turn it into a better looking vanilla version.
So...
Anyway to use texture patch ONLY for your main character, besides custom races?
I have tried using Ningheim race, but I cannot get it to play nice with FNIS, and I do not really like it anyways with the texture I'm going to use.
Custom races will be your only way of doing that.
I've never bothered until recently but I became annoyed with animations and wanted to use FNIS PC exclusive animation path. which requires a custom race.
So I downloaded Custom Races (don't forget the custom races compatibility patches )
Works like a charm, it picks all the hairs/beards/brows modifications in the same pool as every other character so that NPC also benefit from it, but as far as body shape/textures/normal maps go you can have your own.
You have to copy them manually in the right folders though, so you need some basic understanding of the files needed.
I even have it working alongside Better Vampires, and Dynamic Vampire appearence after a bit of trouble.
Awseome, thanks so much for the help!Uninstall mods and then reinstall the game.
You should use Mod Organiser though, makes reinstalling much easier since mods don't get installed into the Skyrim folder.
Essential mods for me are the really popular texture pack and SMIM.
If you're a fan of the vanilla look you might wanna consider getting Imaginator instead of an ENB.
As far as grass mods go I used to use the Dense Grass mod that was packed with the Docter's ENB but I've since switched to Verdant. Prior to getting a new PC I used Grass on Steroids which had little impact on FPS.
As far as draw distance goes I'm still trying to find one that I like, other than maybe getting the stable uGrids and bumping it up I can't help you there.
I wouldn't recommend using Imaginator. Nothing really compares to ENB but if you can't get it to work but still want altered visuals try SweetFX. Are you using the wrapper for ENB or injector? So is Imaginator easier to set up than ENB? Where can I find fan presets? And I still need to force fullscreen.
alright. it's time to get modded out again. thanks!
Wow I gave it a try yesterday and.. wow what an awesome tool. Still need to llok why the ENB didn't seems to work with it thought. There is Mod organizer which is a new Manager for mods .

I still don't really like playing skyrim and will most likely never finish it, but I sure love spending a few hour on it every few month just to try a bunch of new mod, take pictures and all that. It's also my personnal benchmark everytime I upgrade my computer.
Need to reinstale VorpX to give it a new try with the Oculus rift.
I don't understand that last sentence at all. I don't even understand the difference between SweetFX and ENB.I wouldn't recommend using Imaginator. It's RealVision, since it had an installer you have to launch I thought it would be enough. But I must be missing something, I should look at the tutorials. vedit : just looked at it, and yeah I missed many step. Guess MO isn't really of much use when it comes to ENB.Did you put the enb Files in the Skyrim directory ?
Enb and SKSE files are the only thing that still need to be placed in the directory to work .
Just be sure to Launch SKSE through MO.
When you install ENB there are two folders, one called "WrapperVersion" and one "InjectorVersion". If one isn't working it's worth trying the other.I don't understand that last sentence at all. I don't even understand the difference between SweetFX and ENB.
I tried both and I still get the bFloatPointRenderTarget error. It's set to 1 in the copy in Documents/My Games/Skyrim. On the bright side, I solved the borderless fullscreen issue. When you install ENB there are two folders, one called "WrapperVersion" and one "InjectorVersion". ENB and SweetFX are similar in that they intercept/override DirectX to alter visuals, as opposed to something like Imaginator which uses scripts in Skyrim/your save file. Apart from anti-aliasing, everything SweetFX does could be described as photoshop for your screen. ENB on the other hand has shaders specifically written for the game and interacts with the game on a much deeper level. Thus ENB has by far the biggest impact on game visuals, adding effects like ambient occlusion, parallax, reflections, depth of field etc...
