I loved Serbia and Montenegro. That guy and his movements...kinda like the burger King in that it's just weird enough to kinda creep you out but not really.

Unsurprisingly, every song that tried too hard to be good (see: Russia) sucked worse than anything that didn't.

As for the puppet, I thought it was hilarious at first, but it never got "better" by which I mean crazier, funnier or clever...er. A shame because I loved it when it started, thought it hit the right parody notes.

I don't know how it's like in other countries, but we get to vote for who to send. This involves the artists competing against eachother in numerous broadcasted competetions. Of course, no self respecting artists want to take part in this, so we only get to choose between shit and shittier.

While I was somewhat disappointed that the one song I voted for (link) didn't get to go, leto svet grew on me on me over time and I couldn't help but laugh at the on-stage antics they had (humping a piano and all that). But the reception seems to be almost universally disapproving, so not much hope there. I don't think we'll even get to participate next year.
