It doesn't mean much though, in one of the shows leading up to this year's Eurovision, they showed how the points would be tallied if you removed all eastern and south-eastern countries from the voting last year, and the top 5 stayed the same.

Uh, there are dozens of songs better than that one. Just look for some older Eurovision editions. There are some evergreen songs you definitely know but don't even realise they came from Eurovision.
