My main issue with the game so far is how it locks basic movement/combat options behind the skill tree. It's probably something I'll only have to worry about on my first playthrough, but still. You shoot an enemy's leg, they get stunned for a period of time just long enough to make sure the player can run up to them, so you do it, and you don't have the skill that lets you kick the shit out of them. Why?
Skill trees should make progression more rewarding and fun, not the first few hours more boring and limited. At least they gave us the stomp, so there's that. I like the increased stamina, though. I didn't mind it in the first game, it made sense, but I do enjoy the sequel giving me something a little closer to how my character actually was in the first one after the upgrades than having to do it all over again.
