The Final Bosman Show

Awesome bonus bit.

I feel like I'm missing some context for the main video though.

Same... I really have no idea what he's talking about. I kind of wish he'd given a brief overview of the situation. When I googled 'Riptide GP2 Controversy," his video made up pretty much all of the links on the first page.

From the comments it's actually about Everyone's Gone to the Rapture. He even mentions a 'game that came before,' which I'm sure is about Dear Esther.

This is my assumption, I'm not sure either.

So Defy Media is really gutting game trailers out. I wonder how long they will survive?

In less then 12 months, they've had multiple rounds of layoffs, 2 office moves, and a huge shrinking of their budget.

I don't really know what was going on with this most recent episode. I felt like there was some bit of Bosman lore that I had missed out on, but I guess everyone here is stumped too?

I guess it's about Project CARS? That seems like the obvious candidate, since people were flipping out over the cancelled WiiU version.....and in the video he hilariously talks about the one platform that is getting shafted by the developers (the LeapFrog).

I don't know what's going on recently.. the last couple of episodes seem to be more like what's normally at the end of his shows.. inside jokes and throwbacks.

My favorite shows of his are when he shares his insights on stuff going on in the world of video games. Whether I agreed or not, it was a refreshing change to listen to an intelligent point of view about an industry I enjoy learning about and being involved in. Jokes in it, of course.. he's got a fantastic sense of humor, which informs and makes his POV interesting to me.

It just seems like it's going off the rails recently into any video-game themed show you can see on Youtube with wacky characters and bits.. a "Video Gamez Morning Zoo" show.. the very type of show he used to mock.

I must be getting old and cranky.. and not getting what the 'kids' are talking about these days.

I've noticed this too. Definitely would like him to scale it back a bit, though I still enjoy what he puts out.

I literally lol'd at
"please avenge me"

Same, haha. The abrupt timing was perfect xD

You can tell he wasn't trying to put a burden on Kyle. He literally wanted him and only him to avenge him...

The implications of nefarious menas go so deep. I can't...

I get the feeling that Schluffe is not dead, but rather getting back at Kyle for not wanting to hear his song two episodes ago

No possibility of Schluffe being dead. He likes drama and uses weird figures of speech. "You have wounded me deeply Kyle Bosman" (fake example quote) His whole shtick was saying stuff like The Last Guardian is cancelled + catchphrase. 'Another German' does whatever Schluffe tells him to... "Please telephone the murderer Kyle Bosman in place of me and inform him of the consequence of his terrible nature."

In a distant future episode, you'll see Schlüffe resurrect as the German god he is.

Kyle will be on his knees, begging for forgiveness. For his neglect of Schlüffe's final plea for revenge.

Schlüffe will show mercy, as Germans are known for.

As he hugs Kyle platonically and heartwarming as only a German could, he will lean to Kyle's ear and whisper some German words.

"Es tut mir leid."

Just saw the new episode. Great episode, good choice bringing Huber in for this discussion, only these two can convincingly portrait the craziness of avoiding spoilers. Bonus bit got a laugh out of me too.

The only thing that always bothers me when Final Bosman breaks the format is that he isn't wearing a suit, is that just me?

Link since I seem the first this time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5PjS3qZwGo

Really good episode. I do the same thing for not watching trailers of games I already know I'm buying. Didnt watch any bloodborne trailers, wont watch any more for ds3. Even seeing the locations and enemies is kind of a spoiler.

As for spoilers in reviews there is one big thing I hate, which is when they vaguely mention "the twist". Then when playing if you are getting near the end and nothing has happened you know a twist is coming and the effect is ruined. I do the same as them and read/watch reviews after ive played the game.

I loved this episode. Huber and Bosman make such a good pair. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing this more often (though perhaps as its own show?). The only slight change I'd make is to give Bosman more time in the spotlight, as Huber can dominate the screen at times. But that's only a tiny little thing, really.

As for media blackout, chances are I'l go on that when it comes to the next Legend of Zelda. I'll watch the inevitable E3 2016 trailer and that's it. Nothing more. I want to be able to experience the game on my own.

... ironically, though, I've lately started having problems with the "first time playing" moments mentioned in this episode. I find it easier to get into the experience the second time. >__<''

Lastly... ... there was really a lot of face-touching this episode. Never realized Huber loves his face so much before.

"I love this game!" - Kyle Bosman

The Final Bosman: 6.1

Today's first fifteen was amazing. Probably my favorite episode of First Fifteen yet. The game was legitimately "wtf is this shit," whereas a lot of the time it's more generic shovelware.

I'm kinda feeling the same way. This format will easily work for a one-off episode every now and then, but every non-First Fifteen episode? Not so hot on that.

On the subject of this episode's stinger (or whatever you call the post GT logo bit),
I was so expecting Bosman to troll the VO guy with an Amiibo at the very end of the Disney Infinity blind-feel-guess game.
