The Final Bosman Show

Amazing episode, laughed out loud a few times. Poor Phillip. I really do hate the concept of building experiments and cash grabs, then inserting a game into it, F'ed up indeed.

Nintendo is clearly experimenting with F2P right now. Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is one laboratory; Steel Diver Sub Wars is the other.

The episodes that Kyle is not using his suit are the best. He looks more casual and I think that the way I listen to him changes too.

I found the Tomodachi Life direct funny as well but I don't really understand why it's relevant.

EDIT: Oh right a good harry potter game. What about the RPGs on GBC or GBA? I remember one that was kind of like Golden Sun.

That was brilliant. Loved his examples against Borderlands and he's totally right about Tomadachi Life. When you have a game like that, announce it in that fashion. If it was just a standard trailer, I'd probably not be as interested in it as I am.

Nice episode. We all can imagine the amount of people with PS4/One that will not be playing any new game in the PS3/360.

The subject matter dovetails nicely with Jimquisition's last two episodes, where the folks in charge of AAA business and marketing take the all or nothing, zero-risk approach to pumping blood from stones.

That Harry Potter footage was incredible.

I don't necessarily disagree with Kyle about BL2: The Pre-Sequel and it's last gen only console versions but I also can't bring myself to care about it because I'll get it on PC (low gravity GPU PhysX effects? Hell yes!)

If he just wants a fun Harry Potter game, why not Lego Harry Potter? He said he had fun with Marvel, although it does lose a bit without the open world part.

Cynical Bosman is actually pretty funny. I liked the episode, but what's that about giving props to Phil Fish for cancelling Fez 2?!^^

Exploring Hogwarts without any loading screens sounds very fun. I never played Order of Pheonix. I tried Goblet of Fire and didn't like it, so I never gave another chance to any Harry Potter game again.

Someone should give Kyle Baten Kaitos to play. He would be pleased to see the sequel, which is also a prequel, is a superb game, and is the superior title between the two. :-D

I need to sit down and finish those games.

I especially remember the Chamber of Secrets game for GBC being very good. Admittedly that just may be nostalgia but it does remind me of Golden Sun.

Wow. Wow! What an episode. What a fucked up game. Why Nintendo, Why!

I gotta admit, I had no interest in this game until this episode. I downloaded it immediately after watching. I enjoyed the demo bit, but am reluctant to spend 2 bucks on a mini game.

Beautiful episode. Not even focused on the Borderlands stuff but him speaking about both the Tomodachi Life and SSBWiiU/3DS Directs warmed my heart. Kyle truly finds the good things still left in the industry.

And when you combine the Metroid pin that Reggie wore at VGX, and the Samus love triangle featured in the Tomodachi Life trailer, I think Metroid U is going to be announced at E3. It's like they're giving us little bread crumbs to follow.

I was the opposite, OotP was the first one I tried and the fact that you could walk from one end of Hogwarts to the other without loading screens made it seem amazing and allowed me to overlook its other flaws. Then I tried others and they were not up to the expectations.

Also, i had no idea what Tomodachi Life was until now, but I must find out more.

Lol Kingdoug87 is a GAFfer..

Shhh, I'm hiding.

I knew it. I FUCKING KNEW Kyle wouldn't be able to make it through the episode without mentioning
Tomodachi Life.
It just wouldn't feel right to have
Nintendo
do something that fucking
weird and wonderful
and have Kyle NOT even mention it.

I also enjoyed the first 3 HP games on PC. They were different from the PS versions.

But yeah, the first two on GBC were the best, no discussion. I still have to try the last two games released but I've read the developers shat the bed with some TPS mechanism for fights. I hope someday we will have a full game covering the whole saga, maybe something like a jRPG might work (you have longevity, exploration, subquests etc)

PS: just saw on Facebook PS4 passed 7mln units sold. Whatever, I wouldn't have touched a pre-sequel to one of the most overrated games of this generations. It's like the collectathlon of the FPS race, only space simulators and lectures about soups from the world can bore me that much.

Loved the episode tomodachi life looks strange in the best kind of way.

I'm really interested in how well arkham knight turns out on the bombcast they were saying the game looked amazing.

I'm pretty disappointed with the show after "Ground Zeroes Is for Dummies" episode.
Not because of Ground Zeroes, but his bitching about Naomi and Otacon in MGS4 (just undermined all the good stuff in his videos).

I hope Kyle hears the most recent episode of the Official Playstation Blogcast:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/04/11/playstation-blogcast-episode-116-mad-about-shu/

The regular podcast crew had Shuhei Yoshida on all episode and during the listener questions they were asked who in the industry they'd like to talk to. There were mentions of Cliffy B, David Jaffe, Hideo Kojima and Mark Cerny. But when it was Shuhei's turn to say who he'd like to meet/talk to he said "Kyle Bosman".

That's so cool to hear :)

Time stamp?

I hope Kyle tackles the region lock issue in a future episode. The SMTIV debacle really is a shining example of how this retarded practice screws over the costumers.

...aaaaand the next episode's going to be about Shuhei :D

Interestingly, I was given Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the PSP and decided one day that I would play it. Many many many hours later I 100%(ed) the game in one day and ended up loving it. Till this day my number one guilty pleasure game.

The guy is such an obvious Nintendo fanboy. I still enjoy the show though.

Wouldn't really classify him as a fanboy. Fanboy behavior to me is pretty much "I support this company and only this company, and if you support the other company you're my enemy". Fanboys also tend to believe that the company they support can do no wrong, and will defend them to the end if someone calls them out on it.

Kyle loves Nintendo, he's already made that much clear, but he sure as hell isn't afraid to call them out when they do something stupid
