The Final Bosman Show

Great episode, now some of you may understand how stupid the Nintendo is doomed threads look like.

I really can't wait for E3, I hope Nintendo owns it.

I dunno, he sound very fake in this episode.

I mean a long part focus on sales and how much Nintendo is almighty and rich and it's ok if they made more failure console? and best lineup just for one game? this is so not Kyle Boseman and not his style at all and not what this show is about (normal guy talk normally about games he love not about how much money that company own and games we didn't see yet), I guess GT just told him to do that so they don't lose the nintendo fans clicks after his lil Gamepad skit last time.

That was purely factual. Nintendo has enough money in the bank that they could take a loss for many years and still survive.

and best lineup just for one game?
Pretty sure that was just an example... I suppose he could have expanded more on this.

This is a baseless accusation.

Another great episode. I look forward to these every single week.

Don't get hung up on the controller thing...it's not an analogy with some deeper meaning!

What?

I dunno, the big dopey elephant metaphor was perfect :)

Holy shit at the Gamecube controller with no buttons. Slayed me.

How did we miss that :lol

Also, big dopey elephant is exactly how I picture Nintendo.

It sounds like you don't like Nintendo. Nothing about the video seemed "fake" or out of character to me.

I totally missed the thread about the buttonless Gamecube controller, anyone have a link? Searches lead me nowhere, my google-fu is weak.

Yes, stupid. Because the Wii U is doing better than ever... compared to the Virtual Boy.

Money in the bank doesn't mean prolonged support for hardware.

Seriously, that Gamecube controller makes no sense. Not only are the buttons gone, so is the c-stick but the main stick is still there. There are no gaping holes where the buttons should be, so it's not like it's some broken controller they had sitting around. I'm genuinely interested in what is going with that controller.

And yes, I got what he was doing with his analogy. The controller is still bizarre.

I think we really do need a thread :p

"Nintendo is doomed bro!"

Oh man that part killed me.

Great elephant analogy for Nintendo.

EDIT: OK, DRM reference. Makes sense.

The elephant analogy was perfect.

Also, is there really a buttonless gamecube controller in that video or was that part of the DRM joke?

Which I didn't really get the message of.

*WHOOOOSH*

Wow. I've never seen so many people post without reading even a few posts to see the answer already here about a dozen times in the past 50.

I wonder if Bosman talked about DRM without talking about DRM out of some kind of censorship from his bosses? Maybe Microsoft has threatened to reduce the proverbial carrots they would give Gametrailers at E3 if editorialized in a negative light.

as I said in my other post, there is something wrong about this episode (and for the sake of this show I hope it's not GT doing)

I didn't think it was that subtle when I watched it, but clearly it was!

I think the only thing wrong here is that people take things too literally.

He's a very frank person. If this was done to prove a point, at the end of the "Gamecube with No Buttons" rant, he'd explain what he meant and the takeaway from the abstraction. He didn't do that.

Once he said that the PS4 would likely have a GameCube controller of its own with no buttons, it became pretty clear to me. It was actually very clever.

Wow, great episode, lol at the gamecube controller thing. Very clever, makes me think of him as some sort of supreme alien now. Subtly putting that in there ya know.
